As per recent reports, the six articles of impeachment all seem outright and if the Senate will be fair are all irrefutable. 1) Conspiracy to Assassinate President Marcos, First Lady, and Speaker Romualdez 2) Malversation of P612.5 Million in Confidential Funds 3) Destabilization, Insurrection, and Public Disorder 4) Involvement in Extrajudicial Killings (Davao Death Squad) 5) Bribery and Corruption in DepEd and the highlight of them all 6) Unexplained Wealth and Failure to Disclose Assets I have been pointing out the need to check the SALN and the bank records of the Dutertes. And several reports say that as per the impeachment complaint, Sara Duterte quadrupled her net worth from 2007 to 2017 without legitimate other sources of income. But what should be the highlight is the 2 billion suspicious transactions linked to the joint account of former President Rodrigo Duterte. In the media forum of the Young Guns last week, one of the prosecutors, Congressman Rodge Gutierrez of 1 Rider Partylist explained that an impeachment proceeding is not bound by the legislative calendar. He further elaborated this by saying that this is a constitutional process and not just an ordinary legislative process.
