He stopped eating on Tuesday. By Friday, he couldn't stand up. I've had BEAR for 9 years. He was there when my marriage fell apart. He was there when I lost my job. He was there every single morning, at the door, tail going crazy, like I was the most important person in the world. And then one day… he just laid down and didn't get back up. But COOPER never left his side. Not once. For three days straight, that goofy, food-obsessed Labrador sat pressed against him on that cold driveway. No treats could move him. Nothing. I didn't teach him that. Nobody did. The vet said BEAR had a severe infection. It was close. It was really, really close. But I think COOPER knew something we didn't. I think he was telling BEAR — not yet. Stay. If your dog has ever been your whole heart, drop a ❤️ below. I need to know I'm not alone in this

So here’s how serious I am about The 26th Amendment to the United States Constitution (my right to vote) Because of work obligations and I wouldn’t have the time to travel. I started this process months ago. I applied for the Absentee Ballot, had to re-register to vote, completed some forms and mailed for verification. Received the ballot by mail. I knew ChineyK was traveling and I wanted to ensure they got to the polling station in time. So she had to drop them off at the UPS for me yesterday. This election is too important to NOT vote. It’s too important to NOT let my vote count. It’s too important to come up with excuses. It’s too important to put our future in someone else’s hand. Go out and VOTE. If your state is offering early voting, find a station and do so. If not, ensure on November 5, you do what’s right 💙 🇺🇸

Earlier today I was ironing some clients clothe with the gas iron when I had the sudden urge to use the toilet. I turned off the gas and went to the toilet. I went about with other things when I came out thinking the iron was off. Next thing I heard was Mummy your table is burning. I rushed down to find that the gas was still on and I had only increased the heat instead of turning it off. What amazed me was that the rubber iron mat that came with it didn't burn but everything beneath it melted. Does anyone know the kind of material they use in making the mat? Alhamdullilah, what if it happened during the week when my kids are not around? Why is it so hard to fix the power problem in this country so we don't have to resort to endangering our lives trying to solve problems that we shouldn't be having in 2026? In all, Alhamdullilah.
