I think people assumed this post was in reference to him overtaking De’Aaron Fox’ position as the guy (for now). It’s not. It’s in terms of youth pecking order. Take your guess with that one.

wemby/harper/castle/carter bryant/sochan/vassel/ is such and elite young core of guys 25 and under. Other quality pieces in harrison barnes, kornet, olynyk and obviously they still have fox as their star guard for now. This is a great team.

💯 If they’re a play in team, I think it would be okay to search for a Fox trade package and lean into the Harper Wemby Castle era. If they’re thriving, I wouldn’t break it up, but I’d definitely start Harper over Fox or with him as a developmental idea

If he doesn’t I’m not sure it is completed but it has a much better chance to be a TD. But no question him slowing up was a big reason why it wasn’t completed. ** Hurts holds onto the ball a tick longer than he should have, a theme in the game.
