I think people assumed this post was in reference to him overtaking De’Aaron Fox’ position as the guy (for now). It’s not. It’s in terms of youth pecking order. Take your guess with that one.

wemby/harper/castle/carter bryant/sochan/vassel/ is such and elite young core of guys 25 and under. Other quality pieces in harrison barnes, kornet, olynyk and obviously they still have fox as their star guard for now. This is a great team.

💯 If they’re a play in team, I think it would be okay to search for a Fox trade package and lean into the Harper Wemby Castle era. If they’re thriving, I wouldn’t break it up, but I’d definitely start Harper over Fox or with him as a developmental idea

Here is both the sideline and end zone view of the big miss from Hurts to AJ in the loss to the Broncos My thoughts on the play: ** AJ definitely slows up. If he doesn’t I’m not sure it is completed but it has a much better chance to be a TD. But no question him slowing up was a big reason why it wasn’t completed. ** Hurts holds onto the ball a tick longer than he should have, a theme in the game. I don’t think that is why it is incomplete but it didn’t help. ** I think AJ slowed up because he felt the ball wasn’t coming since he was already so far down the field and it hadn’t been thrown yet. To me that is probably the result of frustration from that happening a lot this season as opposed to solely on this play. ** Bottom line is this has to be a TD. This isn’t a backup QB to a No. 3 WR. This is Hurts to AJ. They needed the play and it didn’t get it done. ** Most concerning part of the play to me isn’t that it was incomplete. That is bad but it will happen. To me the most concerning part is they didn’t talk on the sideline afterwards about it. Bad sign.
