If you want to watch on YouTube:

@dylan522p The underpriced take: knowledge work won’t disappear, it’ll reprice. Top 10% gets supercharged, middle 70% gets commoditized, bottom 20% gets automated.

@dylan522p Strong argument for this

@dylan522p thanks :)

@dylan522p the 'knowledge work is cooked' framing is more interesting than 'SaaS is dead'. SaaS is the delivery mechanism. knowledge work is the actual market. those are different timelines.

@dylan522p yeah agreed. saas is dead is old. but it seems like all knowledge work is going to be drastically different much sooner than anyone realizes.

@dylan522p Dylan is a tool grifter.

@dylan522p The SF AI scene is basically 15 people in 3 apartments who decide what the rest of the world thinks about artificial intelligence. And they all podcast about each other.

@dylan522p Knowledge work getting cooked means we gotta adapt fast or get left behind Building People Loop taught me this - the AI can already handle 80% of support convos. Makes you wonder what other jobs are next

@dylan522p Are you doing more work than ever?

@dylan522p Adult men should try to be aware of how often they use the word "like." If it's in every sentence you utter... You've got work to do.

@dylan522p cool

The SaaS dead conversation is where Dylan usually loses me. SaaS isn’t dead — the delivery model just shifts from selling seats to selling outcomes. $NOW and $CRM don’t disappear, they become the orchestration layer for agents. The companies that die are the ones selling a UI wrapper over a workflow that an LLM handles natively. Thats a very different thesis than “SaaS is dead” and I think the nuance matters for how you position around it.

@dylan522p Dylan sensei is here wooooooo

@dylan522p heeeeee's baaaaack

I've been thinking about what @DylanPatel means by 'we aren't ready for what's coming'. I think it's less about being unprepared for some impending disaster, and more about our collective inability to imagine and adapt to the complexities that come with rapid innovation and technological advancements.

@dylan522p @dylanpatel tech moving faster than society

@dylan522p that is a killer intro, your editor is crushing it matt

@dylan522p he's so good @ForwardEditor

@gavinpurcell @dylan522p @gavinpurcell bro thank you :)

@MatthewBerman @dylan522p really, really great work!!

@SemiAnalysis_ @dylan522p Podcast links?

@SemiAnalysis_ @dylan522p

@SemiAnalysis_ @dylan522p Apple/Spotify/etc?

@dylan522p Sir, can you please share this via RSS so it's easier for podcast AI agents to ingest, summarize, etc? Love em, but YouTube & X make it a lil tricky for agents to use the media to make transcripts etc for summarization, something something, terms of service.

@dylan522p How many can afford 5000 dollars? It seems crazy to spend unless the context window increases and the rates come down, which I think looks difficult due to data centre and electricity usage.

@dylan522p im watching :)

@dylan522p lmk what you think

@dylan522p Great conversation

@dylan522p thanks :)

@dylan522p I’m assuming it’s on YouTube?

@dylan522p Yep!

@dylan522p Thanks Matthew! It’s a must watch from the looks of it!

@dylan522p

@dylan522p I could listen to Dylan for hours. Perfect combo of intelligence and culture

@dylan522p Love this guy!!

@dylan522p he's great

@dylan522p Intelligence levels are evolving.

@dylan522p Great session😍

@dylan522p @grok stocks this is bullish for? Stocks this is bearish for?

@dylan522p Not on spotify?

@dylan522p Great episode. Lots of insights here. I turned the full podcast into notes.

@dylan522p The "knowledge work is cooked" part hits hard. I've watched AI handle database queries and React components that would have taken me hours just two years ago. The timeline from "helpful tool" to "replacement" is way shorter than most devs want to admit.

@dylan522p ponzilions

@dylan522p The new flex in silicon valley seems to be how much money you spend on daily token burn. If you're not in the +$10,000/day club, are you even trying?

@dylan522p Great interview, appreciate it

@dylan522p Ai slop posting

@dylan522p Watched the whole episode. He looks more Claude-pilled and subtly anti-OpenAI. Nothing wrong in that though as long as those are personal views and there’s no conflict of interest.

@dylan522p Insightful podcast! Software is evolving into Skills loosely coupled with Data Spaces (databases, knowledge bases, filesystems, and APIs), connected through (C)reate, (R)ead, (U)pdate, and (D)elete operations.
