Even with the government shutdown expected to draw to a close this week, chaos at the airports is persisting, with the Federal Aviation Administration ordering airports to cancel 6% of flights on Tuesday and ramp that number up to 10% on Friday. TSA employees and air traffic controllers are considered essential workers – but while they were expected to work throughout the shutdown, they have not been paid, with air traffic controllers missing their second full paycheck on Tuesday. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said air traffic controllers could receive much of their back pay within 48 hours of the shutdown coming to an end. As he flew out of Wisconsin on Tuesday, Duffy also warned that the upcoming weekend had the potential to be even more chaotic than previous days.

The Trump admin needs to be aware of this “I work for a contractor for the federal government and today I onboarded 2 former GSA employees that took the Elon Musk incentive and retired early and now they're back at their same positions just through a government contractor. So basically they took a little bonus and are back and the government is paying them through a contractor to be back at their jobs”

The pathway to an agreement needs to involve both Democrats and Republicans, says CBS News' Scott MacFarlane. According to PA's own website, working with 1/3 of the overall 3.1 MILLLION registrations, out of about 1 MILLION of those voters, it showed over 11,000 mail-in ballots filled out by the voter and returned back to the government on the same day the government mailed it out to the voter. The next data set showed 8,205 registrations approved by the government, mailed out by the government, received by the voter, and then filled out by the voter and mailed back to the government all on the same day. Remember this 8,205 is only out of 1 million out of the total 3 million voters. The last data set showed 7,403 ballots that were received through the mail that were filled out before they were even mailed out by the government. Nothing to see here.
