Literally played and got up to a 93 OVR by the end of my SO szn without having to pay for anything. Just run every practice and make plays in the games. CB used to be shit for XP in the past even with XP sliders. It’s actually not bad at all XP wise

yeah thats the difference in people who wanted to grind from the lowest possible start or play at one of the worst colleges and start a full rebuild. this screws them over.

Even as an elite I went to Sam Houston. Broke their INT szn record. Won Jim Thorpe. Transferred to Georgia. More than enough XP and the legacy was over 10k by the end of SO szn. I will try a 1 star eventually to see the difference

You pay to cheat and get fast XP... who cares. You grown adults are on here crying like babies because you have to work to level up instead of cheating for free.

They removed the ability to start as a 1 or 2 star and become a 99 overall naturally- only way is by starting off as a higher tier player, or paying.

So my question is can u still grind it out and enjoy the game? 2k has been doing this for years and I’ve always paid for the deluxe copies or bought vc “on sale”. I’m back to the old days now. Even if it’s once a week of gaming cuz I have a family to take care of

you can max out your character if you start them at a higher 4/5* profile, if you want to start out a grind from a lower character at a lower college, its impossible for you to max out your character in your 4 years of playing

There needs to be gamer/consumer rights in gaming.

We’re getting supper entitled. These new game experiences should be charging more based on the tech and gameplay being added. We pay hundreds of dollars for what they value. Go find a new game to play. I remember 2k was doing this for my player before the park was the main event

this isn't a new game experience. this is something they're removing the ability to do in an offline mode gametype that they're now charging for.

Okay again that’s fair. I do believe the offline mode is the best mode. For me specifically I would invest due to the value I see. It’s definitely some things in there that can be improved no question.

this becomes a problem only and specifically only when they degrade the base gameplay and slow it down to the point of inconvenience to the free to play player or the player who chooses to not spend money that way. once they do that it’s predatory. period.

This speaks to a larger issue it should be illegal to charge people $99.99 like in iPhone or google play for “added features” you should be able to buy the game and that’s it. Same goes with PlayStation and Xbox games. Paying thousands for skins or cleats is beyond predatory!!

War thunder does a similar thing it’s basically useless to play for free once you hit jets and semi modern tanks/ships the time to get a new one researched is days worth of gameplay, with many things being booty with their good counterparts in the premium section.
