Eagle Gas Strike vs Orbital Gas Strike

I think this puts in perspective how much of a buff the Gas Strike actually needs. 100% needs a radius buff

I take gas every mission, so gonna love this.

Orbital (probably) still has bigger demo force. Reminder that all the "Big" orbital Shells can destroy things like jammers and detector towers while most Airstrikes cant (minus ol' reliable 500kg)

Orbital gas strike should have been several charges - for bigger radius, it shouldn't be a precision strike.

we need a gas barrage or a smoke barrage both work

Would still take the Orbital since Eagle has some good options otherwise and taking more than one eagle type at a time is annoying due to how they rearm

I dont know how exacly feel about it, it look strong but there is the fact that all eagle share it cooldown so the Eagles alone is stronger but if hou bring 2 when you use all of one it will not recharg till you tell it to losing the uses of the other Eagle, or uses all of them

pros: wider effect area multiple strikes to call in short time cons: unusable in AA zones Eagle-1 munitions cooldown Eagle strikes stay on top

I actually end up using both now for 100% uptime. You can spam the Orbital Gas while the Eagle's re-arm, or use both an Eagle Gas and Orbital Gas and completely lock down entire breaches at D10 and just sit back and pick off targets at your leisure. It's really nice.

I absolutely love Orbital Gas, did it get power crept with this? By the looks of it the answer is yes lol (Bigger area, same duration, probably samey cooldown with the eagle multiple uses and later rearm vs the 1 per minuteish Orbital) Anyways, Holy shit two cakes.

Hmmmmm might actually be more useful but need to see how much it carries and what is the cooldown if its faster or the same or longer than the orbital one

Eagle has frequent calls while orbital has a limit

Eagle gas is just better in every feasible way. Combine with Orbital napalm and bug breaches become a minor inconvenience

How does it affect the big guys incomparison to the orbital?

Orbitals could use a buff almost all around. Much shorter cooldowns imo.
