It has now been 12 months since I began my posting as Australia’s Ambassador to the UAE and it has been a tremendous experience. Our team is thrilled with all that we have achieved so far with our Emirati partners, including the negotiation and signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. We are looking forward to taking the bilateral relationship to new heights as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Australia’s diplomatic relationship with the UAE in 2025. This video provides a snapshot of the year in review.

Today, 7th April 2025, marks six months since 'the moment'. Six months since Lisa admitted she was struggling. Six months since we realised Carla can't pronounce tofu correctly. Six months since Lisa admitted she couldn't do casual. Six months since Carla developed a fascination with Lisa's hair. Six months since Lisa got her first proper hug in three years. Six months since Carla told Lisa not to put herself in harms way. Six months since 'Lighthouse' was added to our playlists. Six months since Carla realised her feelings for Lisa went beyond friendship. And it's been six months since we've had a decent nights sleep. It's been sensational. I mean, we are in every competition, we are competing in every single game, like it's the last one. “Yes, sometimes it will be better, some other times exceptional, sometimes not that good.
