A lesser-known fact about AC/DC in 1976 is that during the recording of their album Let There Be Rock, Angus Young's guitar amplifier caught fire while he was laying down the solo for the title track. Despite the flames, his brother Malcolm urged him to keep playing, and Angus continued shredding until the solo was complete. The incident didn’t stop there—years later, during the recording of Rock or Bust, Angus’s amp caught fire again, though this time he didn’t notice immediately, mistaking it for cigarette smoke. This fiery moment from 1976 highlights the band’s relentless dedication to their craft, even under chaotic circumstances.
