From early May: cougar grooming himself after feeding on a GPS-collared deer he killed. We have routinely captured this male on camera over the past 3 months now suggesting he has taken up residency in the area and is occupying a territory (i.e., not wandering like dispersing males typically do). Note: we have had folks ask to see more of the footage we have captured of cougars over the past few months so we will try to share more footage in the coming weeks. We captured many hours of footage at the kill where we documented the female with 3 kittens as well as at the kill in early May by this male. In addition, we have captured many videos of this male over the past few months just walking down roads and trails. All this to say, more footage to come! Huge thanks to the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund for supporting the Voyageurs Wolf Project and the recent effort to understand deer survival in the area. Their support was critical to this observation—without it, we would never have captured this footage. And huge thanks to the >10,600 donors who have supported our project and enabled us to purchase trail cameras supplies. The cameras (and batteries, SD cards, mounts) we set at this kill were purchased with funds from donations.

Today we're taking a very early look at the progress being made on the Sega Dreamcast's very own port of Runescape Classic! If you weren't already aware of the work that developer, Lobotomy, has been doing, here's some footage captured from an emulator of some online play! It's still extremely early, and as with every ambitious port in the beginning, it still requires the 32MB RAM upgrade, has no audio, and runs like ass... So basically standard procedure! He's currently using our SDL2 back-end with software rendering, which explains the low framerate. Eventually it will move to HW accelerated graphics using the DC's PowerVR GPU, so the current low FPS is to be expected until that time. What IS a big deal is that even in this early stage, it's already able to connect to the online servers for cross-play and is fully playable with the mouse and keyboard! Stay tuned for future updates as Lobotomy continues his work!

An American influencer recently shared a video of Riau province in Sumatra on social media, claiming, “This is what deforestation looks like from above.” While his intention was good, the footage actually shows an area after the harvesting of a monoculture pulpwood plantation. I know this because I was Sustainability MD of a large pulp and paper company for almost 15 years. The barren land is not a result of natural forest clearing; it was likely deforested and converted into plantation land by the company more than six years ago. We need to stop deforestation and work towards restoring the damaged ecosystem.

❤️ HEARTWARMING: Strangers Donate Nearly $1 Million to 78-Year-Old DoorDasher A 78-year-old DoorDash driver, Richard Pulley, received a check for $965,868 on March 20 after a viral video of him making a delivery inspired a global online fundraiser. The footage, captured on a doorbell camera, showed Pulley slowly walking up the front steps to deliver a small Starbucks order, highlighting his dedication despite his age. Pulley said he returned to work about a year and a half ago after his wife lost her job and they struggled to afford her medications. The viral story sparked widespread support, with donations pouring in from around the world and DoorDash contributing a financial gift of its own. Pulley told WKRN he and his wife hope to use the funds to buy a new home and enjoy retirement more comfortably. “All the people have been good [to me],” he said, reflecting on the generosity of strangers moved by his story. We are used to seeing the 1920s in black and white. This is what London actually looked like, in full color, more than a hundred years ago. What you are watching comes from The Open Road, filmed in the summer of 1924 by a British cinematographer named Claude Friese-Greene. It is some of the earliest colour film of London ever made. What I love about this film is that the color collapses the distance between us and them. The black-and-white footage we are used to is beautiful, but it makes the past feel like another world. Colour changes that. Red buses, a blue sky, the green of the trees, and suddenly 1924 does not feel like history at all... What most people don't know is that this footage was one man's attempt to finish his father's life's work: Claude was the son of William Friese-Greene, one of the pioneers of early cinema. Together they had spent years developing a way to capture true color on film, using a system of spinning red and blue-green filters in front of the camera. The process was flawed. It flickered, it produced strange color fringes around anything that moved too fast, and it was soon overtaken by better systems and forgotten. Claude set out on a journey by car from Land's End to the north of Scotland, filming the whole country in his imperfect color, trying to prove that his father's dream could work. For decades the footage sat largely unseen, its flaws making it almost unwatchable. Then, in our own century, the British Film Institute used digital technology to clean away the flicker and the fringing, revealing what Friese-Greene had actually captured: a lost world, brought back to life in color.

A lobbying group has severed connections with Stuart Seldowitz, a former adviser to ex-President Barack Obama after videos where he made Islamophobic remarks and issued threats to a New York City food cart employee surfaced online. The footage, shared on Twitter by a Columbia University student, captures Stuart Seldowitz making racist Islamophobic comments, such as asking, "Did you rape your daughter like Muhammad did?" and boasting that the killing of 4,000 Palestinian children "wasn't enough." Previously, Seldowitz held roles as the acting director for the National Security Council South Asia Directorate under Obama and as the deputy director/senior political officer in the U.S. State Department’s Office of Israel and Palestinian Affairs from 1999 to 2003. He is also a three-time winner of the State Department’s Superior Honor Award. 🤦🏽‍♂️ More recently, he assumed the position of foreign affairs chair for Gotham Government Relations, which had publicized his new role in a November 2022 press release. On Tuesday afternoon, Gotham announced via Twitter that it had terminated its association with Seldowitz, stating, “Gotham Government Relations has ended all affiliation with Stuart Seldowitz, an individual who hasn't contributed to our work in years. The video of his actions is vile, racist, and beneath the dignity of the standards we practice at our firm.” His profile has been removed from the firm's website.

🚨 CANDACE OWENS JUST DESTROYED THE OFFICIAL CHARLIE KIRK STORY — AND IT GETS EVEN WORSE Candace Owens just broke down the rooftop footage from Charlie Kirk’s assassination… and the official narrative is falling apart fast. Side-by-side comparison shows what a real military-style lateral crawl looks like versus the person on the roof. The guy who recorded the footage said he saw no recoil. The person they say is Tyler, is seen sprinting full speed across the roof. How do you run like that with a long rifle strapped to your leg? He only pulls something out after lying down. He doesn’t assemble anything. After the shot, he doesn’t take anything apart either... he just gets up and runs. When he jumps off the roof, he’s only holding a small bag. So where is the rifle? It wasn’t in his pants. He didn’t have time to disassemble it. And we never see him hide it. The official story keeps getting more impossible. What do you think really happened on that roof?

The life of an elderly delivery man in the U.S. changed completely after an emotional video gained traction on social media. Larry, as he’s known, was filmed climbing three flights of stairs to deliver food to Ireland Dannehold, a young woman living in Florida. Moved by his effort and kindness, Ireland shared the footage on TikTok with the caption: “No one should have to work at that age.” The video, captured by security cameras, quickly surpassed 3 million views. Touched by the public response, Ireland launched a GoFundMe campaign with an initial goal of $4,000. Within days, over $22,000 was raised from more than 1,300 donors. “This fundraiser is our way of showing Larry that his hard work didn’t go unnoticed,” Ireland said. The two were later reunited in an emotional moment that left Larry visibly moved by the overwhelming generosity of strangers. (🎥: irelanddannehold on IG)

Steven Spielberg was inspired to make Disclosure Day after witnessing UFO whistleblowers and pilots testifying in 2023 “I felt, starting back in, I think 2023, when the New York Times came out with a story, influenced by a whistleblower that released some footage to the New York Times. It was a story written by Helene Cooper and Ralph Blumenthal and Leslie Keane. And it was a story about what Navy pilots had photographed on their FLIR systems, their infrared systems, their forward facing infrared systems of a ufo, now called a uap, which stands for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon. In a sense it brought a more of a serious, more of an acceptable, sort of lexicon of terms to a world that even now, 50 years after Close Encounters, is more likely to believe that something has been happening for decade upon decade upon decade about, our world being visited. Our movie is about what would happen if all this information was disclosed all at the same time. How would that affect everything? And the story really is about the attempt to stop any disclosure from ever taking place.”

It is still blowing my mind that the new Lego Batman is a new Arkham game in nearly every single way. I literally cannot wait! Things to be hyped about in Lego Batman: - Open world Gotham City that isn't in a state of "lockdown", there are civilians all around the city for once! - Arkham style combat, described as being nearly identical and all your muscle memory will work from those games - The story covers nearly all Batman movies and big moments, I really adore this aspect and excited to see how its all integrated - Customizing the batcave is a dream come true - The Batmobile and bat bikes look so fun to drive, and actually being able to use the movie batmobiles like the tumbler or the muscle car from The Batman with movie-accurate engine sounds is impressive - Gotham City is massive, I definitely think this is much bigger than Arkham Knight, and it looks really detailed with a distinct style in each island - Having difficulty settings in a lego game for what I believe is the first time ever is a huge thing for me as I always thought they were too easy and wished there was an option to add challenge, which they finally have - Co-op is always fun, I do wish they had online co-op but I'll def play this in couch co-op with my brother Are y'all hyped for Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight? It's coming out super soon and I am hoping to have a review out for it as soon as possible, no review copy yet so I'll likely have a review out post-launch! It's releasing on May 19th for Deluxe Edition owners and May 22nd for everybody else!

A 40-year-old man allegedly died by suicide on Sunday after a woman posted a video on social media accusing him of sexually harassing her on a bus. The man has been identified as Deepak U, a native of #Govindapuram in #Kozhikode. He was found hanging at his residence early morning. According to police, his parents were home at the time. When he did not respond to repeated calls, neighbours were alerted to the situation, and the door was forced open, following which he was found dead. The incident came to light after a woman shared a video on social media alleging that the man had deliberately touched her with sexual intent while travelling on a crowded bus. The video, reportedly recorded during a journey from Payyannur railway station to the bus stand, went viral and garnered over 20 lakh views, triggering widespread online reactions. 🎓Learn how to create a powerful Dynamic Embers smart material in a matter of seconds, in my latest video series (AAA) Pro Tips! This smart material can be used on virtually any 3D asset. ___________________________________________________ In this video, the steps are as follows: 1. Create a fill layer to then apply the base maps for our asset into it. 2. Bake out the world space, AO, Curvature, and Position maps. These maps will be crucial for the smart material to function. Also, be sure to add an emissive channel to the project. 3. Next, create another fill layer labeled (Fire animation gradient) with a black mask and inside the mask apply a paint layer. Select the paint layer and paint a simple pill shape using a soft brush. Add an anchorpoint to the mask and disable all channels in this fill layer. 4. Create a folder labeled (embers smart material) and set it to pass through. Add a paint layer inside this folder and set it to pass through as well followed by an anchorpoint. 5. Create another fill layer and apply the paint layers anchorpoint information into its color channel. From here an HSL filter should be added to desaturate and darken the colors. 6. Next, create an additional fill layer with an orange-colored emissive channel. Add a black mask to this fill layer and inside its mask apply a dirt generator. This will give us the illusion of the embers glowing from inside the charred tree. Duplicate this fill layer and tweak its emissive color to a yellowish hue and reduce its mask amount. Do this a second time but with a white-colored emissive channel. This will now create an effect of the embers appearing brighter the deeper they are inside the tree. 7. Lastly, add these layers into a folder with a black mask and apply the (Fire Animation Gradient) anchorpoint into its mask via a fill layer. Now we have a charred embers effect wherever we paint using the paint layer created inside the gradient mask! This gradient mask can also be exported into Unreal engine to create some stunning real-time dynamic animations or the new material can simply be used for in-engine vertex painting. ____________________________________________________ More AAA Game Dev Tips can be found on my YouTube channel here: Stay tuned for more weekly Tips! 😱BREAKING: New Epstein Files Video JUST Dropped—Two Mystery Men CAUGHT Riding ATVs on Little St. James 👀 I've just uncovered a newly added video from the Epstein Files has that just hit the internet, and it's raising serious questions. The footage shows two unidentified men riding ATVs around Little St. James (the infamous Epstein Island). The video, part of a massive release by the House Oversight Committee, shows two individuals navigating the sprawling property on all-terrain vehicles. This follows a wave of unseen drone and walkthrough footage released in late 2025 and early 2026 after President Trump signed a bill directing the release of the controversial files. While previous image dumps focused on the disturbing interiors—like the infamous dental-chair room and cryptic "Power. Deception. Plots." wall scrawls—this video provides rare footage from the Island itself. We are working to identify the men, as their presence on the island during the time of Epstein’s operation or the subsequent 2020 raids could lead to more witnesses or co-conspirators. Survivors have long described the island as a highly controlled environment where staff and associates moved freely. This footage confirms the active use of the property’s infrastructure to monitor or navigate the secluded estate. With the 2026 Epstein Files continuing to unseal, lawmakers like Rep. Robert Garcia say these materials are crucial to "piece together the full picture of Epstein's horrific crimes" and his elite connections. What We Still Don't Know Who were these men? Were they employees, guests, or security? Every frame of this new footage is being scrutinized for clues about the powerful figures who frequented the "tropical paradise" that served as a prison for many. The truth isn't just coming out—it's riding across the screen. Stay tuned for more updates as the files continue to drop. 📂⚖️

this is an old interview with Alex Karp, but it proves exactly why he won: "if you want something to really work, something really complicated, you cannot hire people who are motivated by a paycheck. they have to live and breathe it." back in 2009, long before going public, early shares were valued at $0.35. they have since pulled more than a 70x return. Karp got there by doing the exact opposite of the silicon valley playbook most founders try to monetize on day one. they build a weak product, hire a massive sales team, and focus entirely on squeezing cash out of early clients Karp spent three years building with zero revenue. he refused to hire a single salesperson. instead of chasing a quick payout, his team focused entirely on solving an impossible technical problem if you chase the money first, you attract mercenaries. if you build around a massive idea and demand absolute obsession, you build an edge that no competitor can copy stop optimizing for short-term revenue. build something undeniable, and the market will eventually have no choice but to pay you bookmark and watch the archive interview here
