“The Matrix changed my life.” - Keanu Reeves

This clip by Siemens shows why it is so difficult to engineer a helicopter and what role Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) plays in that

The HZ-1 Aerocycle, was a one-man "personal helicopter" developed by de Lackner Helicopters in the mid-1950s. It was expected to become a standard reconnaissance machine with the US Army, but the project was abandoned after two crashes

The CA Autigro was created in 1920 by Spanish engineer Juan de la Cierva, and is typically marked as the start of the helicopter era. It resembled a hybrid between a fixed wing airplane and a helicopter, having traditional airplane wings with a tail and rotor mounted on a vertical shaft.

Crazy how 100 years can change things so drastically!

*Camera was invented in 1816* People before 1816:

😂😂😂

Damn that’s a lot of blades

This is crazy to watch! Without these people though we wouldn’t have what we do today. They paved the way.

Ridiculous! Look at SpaceX.
