Earning a cats trust is so special 😭

Here’s my feral guy. It took about 6 months and now look at him.

Some people are so blessed..😻

She's smiling now, but wait till she realizes she can't get up from that spot now ... forever

Congratulations! She trusts you now. 👏 You're officially a cat mum. ❤️

Love.

My cat was a feral too. Now she’s living her best life. My beloved Papagena. ❤️❤️❤️

I love that you took in a feral with babies. I did the same thing with a momma and her 2 boys. I had been feeding them since mom brought them out at about 9 weeks old. Mom came in Dec. 30, 2023, and just this morning she hopped up on my bed and just cuddled and rolled around for the longest time. It was so awesome and gratifying. Her boys are still leary but each day they get closer to wanting the same thing. They aren't afraid anymore, and I can walk right by them and they don't run away. I've had the boys in for about 6 months. They just don't know how to go about letting me pet them. The boys were 9 months olds when I took them in. It's going to take kitten steps. Getting ferals to trust you is huge, but so worth the patience. My neighbor and I did TNR with them and returned them to my backyard when the babies were 3 months old, so everyone is spayed and neutered.

I'm planning to adopt a cat tomorrow, but I've never had one before. He's 2 years old and has been neutered, but my landlord just made me a bit anxious about it. Will the cat likely urinate all over the place? The cat is super laid back, or at least appears that way.

Winning over the heart of a scared animal is truly one of the greatest honors!! 😭

It’s the best! Love cats ❤️ (artist- Catrin Welz-Stein)
