The Modernistic Renovation of London Liverpool Street Station 🏙 The time is finally upon us that the Liverpool Street station I've loved for so long is about to see changes that myself and others see as incredibly controversial. A great effort has been made by various people to try and stop this from happening. Though my fears are that the renovations will still go ahead, if people did manage to stop it, I would not feel that I've wasted my time in making this video because it's only by alerting the public that we can help to prevent, or simply raise awareness on such issues. Just imagine all the plans we don't hear about until it's already too late. If you would like others to know about this, or feel the same regret as I do, please share this post in order to make others aware. Thank you all for your support, and for loving the places that mean the world to me. 🤝

She thought she did everything right; placed her order from Papa John’s, added a tip at checkout, and waited for her food to arrive. Simple. Done. It’s not a ‘conspiracy theory,’ this is directly from an American Doctor. He says it’s almost always CHEAPER to not use your health insurance He says insurance charges $2,000 for 1 image, cash price is 2 for $300, he says it’s like this for all imaging. “Guys, cash is king. So anytime you get any imaging ordered by a provider, whether that's an ultrasound, echocardiogram, MRI, CAT scan, etc. Always try to determine the cash pay of what that would cost prior to using insurance. It's often much, much cheaper.” Here's an example script that I provide for patients prior to doing for that. So when you call up an imaging center, these are four questions that you're going to ask - Number one, what is your cash or self pay price for blank? - Number two, does that price include the radiologist interpretation and report? - Number three, are there any additional facility or technical fees I should know about? - Number four, do you offer any discounts for paying up front? So when you do this, always do this before opting to use insurance. Once insurance is billed, you can't go back and you know, in hindsight and pay cash. I recently had a patient who, you know, got an echocardiogram done opted to go through insurance and end up costing about $2,000. Had they decided to use cash pay, it probably would have been 2 to $300. So this may save a few bucks.”

Beautiful illustration of how the Sun, Moon, and Stars appear and disappear from our visual perspective while observing from the ground on Earth. People ask me all the time why folks in the south can't see the North Star (Polaris). It's because it is simply too far away. (Same reason why northern observers cannot see the Southern Cross constellation). The celestial bodies dip down over the horizon when they reach around 6,000 miles (9,600km) away from our observation point on the ground (in the x-axis direction). You can confirm this yourself by taking note of the exact time the sun disappears from sight during sunset, and checking where on Earth it's noon at that time. It will be roughly 6,000 miles away. Our eyes cannot see infinitely! Increasing your altitude, and using a high-powered zoom lens will increase your optical range...but only slightly, as you can't do anything about the atmospheric thickness/smog.

For years, I have warned that AI will turn into AGI by 2030. Well, I recently heard Marc Andreessen 🇺🇸 tell Joe Rogan that it’s ALREADY HERE. This means AI is operating beyond expert human capability in most areas of knowledge, and you’re going to have that in your pocket. This is incredible, yet terrifying at the same time. Bill Gates once said he couldn’t create Microsoft in today’s world, and he’s right. He couldn't. But with AGI, if you know how to prompt, your small company can compete against giant corporations. But the key is asking the right questions. Andreessen said THAT is the skill everyone should master now: how to prompt. It’s not infinite knowledge that’s the focus. It’s discernment with your questions. This is a turning point for all of humanity, and I hope we can use it right without forming Skynet. This is about the conversations that we often postpone. The words we too often leave unspoken. It is about making the most of what little time we get those who matter most. Timing is everything, isn’t it? And sometimes being in the right place at the right time feels well, timely, or even predetermined. With wildlife photography, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. The more you know about your subject, the better because it increases your chances of being where you need to be when you need to be there. There is also an element of just letting go and taking what is given to you. It’s always best to have no expectations at all when it comes to wildlife. On this morning, everything did fall perfectly into place, and I was able to capture this dreamy scene of a beautiful Dalmatian pelican and its reflection on smooth water as it came in for a landing. Oh yeah, the glorious snow-capped mountains in the back were definitely a treat too. The days prior to this, that mountain range was hidden by clouds. I didn’t even know it was there. 🤪
