EASTRY: An empty Stagecoach bus which had reportedly just dropped off 97 schoolchildren in DOVER caught fire on the A256 Eastry Bypass around 9am this morning. The fire apparently started in the engine bay of the 2008 double decker. The driver wasn’t injured. Video: Jan Spinner.

American Airlines Flight 1665 was in the air for about 10 minutes after taking off from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas for Charlotte, North Carolina. 153 passengers were on board, according to CBS News. The plane quickly turned around after smoke started coming from one of the engines. "The aircraft taxied to the gate under its own power and customers deplaned normally," American Airlines said in a statement. "We appreciate the professionalism of our crew and thank our team who are working to get our customers to their destinations as quickly as possible." American Airlines says their inspection found that there was "no evidence" that the engine caught on fire, according to CBS. The plane is reportedly an Airbus A321.
