The Midwest I’m from we put enough oil in the pan to we’re the flower is not dry and white after frying tho

The meat needed a little more oil.

You reduce much sodium if you add sliced onions and mushrooms to the skillet and make your own white sauce. (Gravy) I add black pepper and garlic. Serve with skin in smashed potatoes abd a veggie. I bake my steak after slightly browning at 325 for 35-40 minutes with the gravy, mushrooms, onions in a casserole covered.

I’ve made this for decades. Gotta fry it in butter & make your own gravy!

Put some fucking butter or oil in that pan..... FUCK!

Non cooking motherfuckers ..if that's what your grandma teaches you then she needs some fucking cooking lessons

Not how we do it in the South and we make our own gravy from scratch.

Good lord put some grease in the skillet

that electric skillet takes me back

You lost me at the Campbell Soup 🤢

Your Grandma must not have been a very good cook. Looks like 💩

We made this with golden mushroom soup instead and cooked in crockpot. Cut with a fork.

Needs more fat in the pan. Butter is good. 👍 Schnitzel is delicious.

You're not doing it right...

What in the actual f#ck is that? Definitely one of the most Midwest looking things I’ve seen cooked for sure. Damn

Much better if they are cut into ‘fingers’, get more golden brown crusty goodness plus more bits for making gravy. Soup is NOT needed.

There is nothing classic about this nastiness wtf did I just watch?!

Literally disgusting- do it right

I would never eat anything that came out of that kitchen— cross-contamination is a real thing folks

Needed a little bit more oil I made these and they are awesome, but you cannot cook them like that to get the best resort, I’m a country guy and I want to cook this stuff

Add some oil to that skillet bro

Campbells chemicals?

It’s too bad your grandma didn’t teach you how to cook.

I love a good chicken fried steak. But I don’t think yours are tenderized enough. I beat the heck out of mine with a meat cleaver to where they’re almost falling apart. And not only does it make them bigger and go further. They are fall apart tender. That’s just what I prefer.

Man, y'all cant cook worth a shit

Wouldn’t feed that to my dog

Swiss Steak?

Reminds me of being a kid

totally f'd it up

You might want to scrub your sheet pan!

Planks of wood.

Handsome hello how are you doing today??

Just keep adding milk, until your kitchen needs boats 👍

Add onions that would be perfect.
