I have a couple of horses that do that. Same food, but meds for the older one. Red can't stand the idea that he can't just take Scotty's food, or that if he does, Scotty will just go eat Red's.

My cats do that every time,I give the 3 of them their food.They think the other cats is better,so one of them pushes the other one aside and eats her food ,while the other one eats his food.🤨 😂
