In 47 states an e-bike does not need to be registered & have a license tag to be on the public roadways. Only in Hawaii, New Jersey & Alaska. If this video isn’t shot in one of those 3 states then cop is in the wrong.

Actually if it has pedals it can be ridden anywhere you can ride a bicycle. And you can ride a bicycle on the roadway as long as you travel with the flow of traffic. Also unless the bike path is marked with a sign that says no motorized vehicle then he's legal there to.

Considering I’m sure the state has ordinances and I’m sure it says the bikes are OK on the streets without having to have them licensed. The city cannot supersede that. Learn the law and tell the badge thugs to shove it up your ass.
