Dear Africans, This is Zimbabwean political activist Jacob Ngarivhume @NgarivhumeJacob who was jailed for 4 years in Zimbabwe on Friday because of this video which was made in 2020. He was calling on Zimbabwean citizens to demonstrate peacefully and without violence against corruption which has destroyed Zimbabwe’s economy and killed many citizens from easily treatable diseases. Under Section 58 of the 2013 Constitution of Zimbabwe, everyone has the right to freedom of assembly. Under Section 59, everyone has the right to demonstrate and to present petitions, but these rights must be exercised peacefully. In this video, Jacob Ngarivhume clearly states that the demonstrations must be peaceful and non-violent. But because Zimbabwe’s courts are being used by the ruling ZANUPF to silence any political dissent before the imminent elections, Ngarivhume was convicted and sentenced to 4 years with one year suspended. He will serve an effective 3 years in prison if nothing is done about his plight and this outrageous miscarriage of Justice! Is this what you as Africans expect from African Governments to silence people calling for the end of corruption? Please Africans, let the whole continent know about Jacob’s miscarriage of Justice by retweeting and sharing this tweet and message. An injustice to one African is an injustice to all Africans. The rest of the world laughs at us as Africans because of these embarrassing moments of our history. A man can not be jailed for asking corrupt politicians to stop stealing public funds, and for asking the victims of that corruption to speak out peacefully using their constitutionally guaranteed rights. The whole of Zimbabwe doesn’t have a single working radiotherapy cancer treatment machine in all public hospitals. 2500 pregnant Zimbabwe women die every year giving birth because there are no maternity theaters. The biggest hospital in Zimbabwe only has ONE maternity theater built by the colonial government in 1977, yet it only costs US$37,000 to build a maternity theater. Central hospitals also known as referral hospitals have no paracetamol or basic medicines like betadine. The ruling elites have looted and plundered billions of dollars and natural resources in the last 5 years. For simply asking them to stop this, they have sent Jacob Ngarivhume to prison for 4 years to serve an effective 3 years! This is ridiculous and UNACCEPTABLE! Please spread the message, Jacob needs his plight known by all progressive Africans both home and abroad! The punishment handed down by Magistrate Feresi Chakanyuka to Jacob Ngarivhume shows that there is very little hope of Zimbabwean pro-democracy activists getting a fair trial at the magistrates courts. Appreciation to Everyone who made the Fan Convention Possible. There are simply not enough words to express how grateful we are to everyone who became part of the Paint The Town Red Fan Convention. Over the course of two unforgettable days, we welcomed almost 1,500 attendees, with 1,200 meals distributed through the generous sponsorship of JLCENTERFLARES (ON HIATUS). Our journey began long before the event itself. Months of planning, revisions, sleepless nights, and endless preparations all led to this moment. But the real work started at 10:00 PM on 07/24, when our volunteers gathered to begin setting everything up. From that night until 4:00 AM on 07/27, after the final egress, they continued working almost nonstop. They sacrificed their sleep, endured physical exhaustion, carried heavy equipment, stood under the scorching heat for hours, and pushed through every challenge just to make sure every fan who walked into the venue had the best experience possible. As if the heat wasn’t enough, the first day ended with heavy rains that damaged parts of our setup and equipment. For a while, we honestly thought we wouldn’t be able to continue with Day 2. When we first submitted our proposal to SM MOA, we only had one dream: to promote JL and create a space where JL Stans could come together, celebrate, and simply enjoy being part of this community. To all our volunteers, thank you for choosing to serve instead of simply enjoying the event as fans. You gave your time, energy, and hearts without expecting anything in return. Whether you helped with setup, registration, crowd management, food distribution, cleanup, or behind-the-scenes tasks, every role mattered. This event would not have been possible without you. Who's right between Dr Damina and pastor Kumuyi of Deeper Life? Dr Damina is right. Pastor Kumuyi is wrong on this aspect of forgiveness, and I'll explain why with all humility. There is no place in the Bible that teaches that forgiveness of sins is obtained through confession. Under the Old Covenant, remission of sins required the shedding of blood (Hebrews 9:22). Even then, those sacrifices never made anyone righteous because the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sins (Hebrews 10:1-4). That is why they had to keep offering sacrifices repeatedly whenever they sinned. Hebrews 10 makes it clear that God was not pleased with those repeated sacrifices because they could never perfect the worshippers. That is why Jesus came and offered Himself once and for all. By one sacrifice, He completely dealt with sin, removed its guilt, and made everyone who believes a new creation. As Hebrews 10:14 says, "For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified." When Judas did what he did, it was before the cross. The New Covenant did not begin until Jesus died (Hebrews 9:15-17). Judas never truly believed in Christ, as John's Gospel makes clear (John 6:64, 70-71; John 17:12). By the blood of Jesus, we have become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). In the Spirit, we can no longer be defined by sin. Every believer in Christ has been forgiven through His blood, not through confession. Ephesians 1:7 says, "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace." Colossians 2:13-14 also says that God "forgave us all our trespasses," having wiped out the record that stood against us. Jesus Himself has become our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). Our justification rests entirely on what Christ accomplished, not on our performance. Romans 5:1 says we have been justified by faith, and Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Does any Christian still sin? Yes, we all do (James 3:2). But we are no longer sinners by identity; we are the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). That is why, despite all the misconduct in the Corinthian church, Paul still addressed them as "those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints" (1 Corinthians 1:2). Their conduct needed correction, but their identity in Christ had not changed. There is now no accusation against God's elect because God is the One who justifies them. Romans 8:33-34 says, "Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen." We grow in our conduct as our minds are renewed by the Word, but our forgiveness was secured once and for all by the blood of Jesus. Nowhere in the New Testament, after the death and resurrection of Christ, does the Bible teach that Christ's sacrifice forgave only past sins while future sins require repeated forgiveness to complete what He already finished. Instead, Scripture consistently points us to the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ. Hebrews 10:17-18 says, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more. Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin." This does not encourage sinful living. On the contrary, the same grace that saves us also teaches us to deny ungodliness and live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age (Titus 2:11-12). Holiness is the fruit of our salvation, not the condition for obtaining or maintaining God's forgiveness. Mamata Banerjee (Didi) in Supreme Court - why this was historic and what was oh, so regular! 1. There was a palpable energy in the SC that could be felt by everyone present in Court Room No. 1 - everyone was waiting to hear - will she be allowed to speak? She did! And what an epitome of intelligence, humility and grace. She was interrupted a few times but the message was clear - she will not leave without making her voice heard! She spoke - and asked some pertinent questions : A) The #SIR process which should take at least 2 years properly, why is it being done in 3 months ? B) Why is SIR exercise happening in election going states? C) Why has the Election Commission not responded to the various letters written by her and the State? D) She pointed out crores of people stand the risk of disenfranchisement because they may not have the time to get corrections done in such a short time due to the festivals and harvest season. 2) I heard whispers by some - “Ah, the DRAMA - Political Drama!” But why does no one notice the alleged DRAMA of the State Counsels, who need instructions, argue on technicalities and were willing to say anything that doesn’t require them to argue on merits today. When the State Counsels tried to stop her, CJI remarked - let her speak, she has travelled a long distance. (Mild laughter in court!) 3) What was most heartening is the abated breaths with which people heard on both sides - those who had managed to squeeze themselves and still keep standing in a full packed court! Most heartening personally was the eye glances - with women in the room - smiling softly - who knew what’s happening beyond what’s being said - the subtext! And the power of a woman taking on the powers to be. 4) The Court listed the matter for Monday - said it will also hear the petition filed by Election Commission and asked the State of West Bengal represented by Senior Advocate Shyam Diwan ji, to give a list of government officers who can help with correcting discrepancies that may arise from Bengali spellings /names. So what’s historic is - a tigress leading from the front, not yielding an inch to argue, for her people. What’s regular is - no debate on META questions, technical nitty gritties of the case, and ofcourse - next date. My only regret - not be able to tell her, while she got in the car and waived goodbye - “Didi, you are a warrior princess!” This moment will be etched in my memory till I am alive. Love my profession on days like these when you see history in making - firsthand! But all legal battles like this one - will be a long one! Someday perhaps, in our lifetimes, we would be able to argue and the Court will hold that matters of these type that impact our constitution’s foundation have to be heard in FIXED time and resolved in FIXED time. Data pulled from the Georgia 2020 Election and 2 other states on election night showed impossible vote spikes all over 136,000 votes for Biden when the consecutive averages all throughout the night ranged from 2,000 votes to 45,124 votes at the highest in Georgia. Vote Spikes in Georgia at 1:34 am: 136,155 vote spike: 84% for Joe Biden. 18,788 vote spike: 98% for Joe Biden. 13,035 vote spike: 77% for Joe Biden. 9,385 vote spike: 100% for Joe Biden. Vote dumps contained an average of 49% for Biden in Georgia. Vote Spike in Michigan at 5:31 am: 141,258 votes for Biden: 94% 5,968 votes for Trump: 4% These similar spikes happened in Georgia at 1:34 am, and in Wisconsin at 3:42 am. Vote Spike in Wisconsin at 3:42 am: 143,379 votes for Biden: 85% 25,163 votes for Trump: 15% These vote spikes all favored Biden in highly abnormal, unrealistic percentages, some 98% to 100% for Biden, indicating fraud. These "totes" or "suitcases" are very similar to the ones that were hidden under the tables at the State Farm Arena incident where ballots were pulled out from tables without security tags on them and counted throughout the night until Joe Biden cleared the margin of victory needed. Were these the 9 unsecure "totes" placed and pulled out from under the tables that were separate from all of the other ballots after they placed under the skirted table and put into position for the steal? Finally, how does this all comes together, with these unsecure totes and with fraudulent ballots? Bernard Talmadge owns a company called the "Operations Group, Ardleigh Group," and possibly, "Block by Block." Bernard Talmadge is a known ballot harvester who has been caught in Indiana, charges were brought against him and people who were for him, but were then dropped, from a corrupt court. Checks were found in 2018 all made out for $75-$80 dollars, made out from the Operations Group, and sometimes, the Ardleigh Group. An investigative reporter from Florida named Tom Lauder who did an investigation, and in interviewing witnesses he found that people who worked for the Operations Group and the Ardleigh Group were paid $15 per hour to produce ballots. They had a quota of 10 per-hour, which works out to 1 every 6 minutes. If your running door-to-door in an apartment complex, there is no possible way to get 1 ballot or registration every 6 mins. So what's really going on here? let's proceed. According to the Federal Election Commission, his company has taken in $9.1 MILLION for "field operations." $9.1 million divided by the $75 and multiply it by 50 votes, that's enough money to produce around 6 MILLION ballots. A spreadsheet shown in this presentation shows all the people who gave this company money, what's fascinating is that 1/3 of the $9 MILLION dollars came from the MAINE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. The Maine Democratic Party didn't even take in $3 million dollars during the 2019-2020 election. The evidence of the checks used to pay people were then sent out for background information and analysis, over 400 of them.
