Brooklyn: East 2nd Street & Avenue M, a group of teens entered a bodega on Monday in Midwood, Brooklyn. The bodega clerk, who recognized them from previous incidents of alleged theft and disorderly conduct, ordered them to leave the store. As the group became hostile toward the bodega clerk, he armed himself with a stick and began chasing them outside. One of the teens suddenly sucker-punched the clerk, knocking him out cold. The clerk fell backward, striking the back of his head on the concrete. The group then fled the scene. Officers from the NYPD 66th Precinct and EMS responded and transported the injured clerk to the hospital with head trauma. NYPD Chief of Detectives are investigating the incident.

Residents of the Spanish Hills Apartments in Tacoma were startled by a large explosion following what fire investigators believe was an electrical fire. I’ve lived in prisons, homeless shelters, etc. I moved out of the city two decades ago and never looked back. Best decision I ever made. What you are seeing is not necessarily a ‘white folk’ thing. But rather a ‘small town’ thing. This is what the opposite of ‘urban decay’ looks like. My community mirrors this and we have a lot of blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc. Matter of fact, the ‘black area’ in my town I consider the safest and friendliest. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The predominantly white trailer park in my town, is not. The police were called on me last night because I spoke up to a cashier at the Express Mini Mart on Mickens Road. I’ve been going to this store for years, like many people in this neighborhood. We pay taxes, yet the quality of retail options in our communities is still limited. I address issues head-on. Allowing a younger cashier to disrespect a young Black man in this neighborhood can escalate in dangerous ways, and I wasn’t going to ignore it. Once the back-and-forth went too far, I asked them to call the owner. I stepped outside to my truck. When I came back in to ask how long it would take, I was told 20 minutes. I said I wasn’t waiting that long and asked to speak to the owner by phone. I waited. Then I looked up and saw a deputy pull into the lot. I didn’t trip — I knew I was in the right. That’s when the cashier started fast-talking, finger-pointing, acting alarmed. Full blown Karen shit. I calmly explained the situation to the deputy. He tried to contact the store owner, but the cashier stalled before finally making the call. I got the owner’s number, and he needs to seriously consider his staffing. Anyone who knows me knows I confront issues directly. I don’t back down because someone calls the police. I wasn’t breaking the law — you just didn’t like being checked. End of the year or beginning of the year. Day or night. I’m consistent. I bet he didn’t expect me to still be talking to his boss today. Respect is the minimum. But don’t worry now we’re getting a full show about “intimidation.” Not inconsistencies. Not changing timelines. Not missing movements. Intimidation. At this point, it’s not even spin… it’s a full-blown rewrite. And the wildest part? They keep telling these stories like nobody has seen the footage. Newsflash for ya, People have seen the footage. And the more these “interviews” come out, the more they highlight exactly what they’re trying to avoid. Carry on though… This is going great.

Kerry Roberts is back on the media circuit… this time teaming up with the Note My Objection lawyer to talk about “witness intimidation.” You mean the same Kerry Roberts who somehow forgets to mention the part where she goes into the house while Sgt.
