There used to be a stigma attached to using food stamps. Not a shameful thing but certainly something that you would not want to broadcast that you had to go on them. The goal was to get off them as soon as possible. This is unfortunately not the case anymore. There is no stigma and some want to try to make money by posting about using your tax dollars to buy their food. There is no shame anymore.

Don’t stop sharing these. I don’t think people understand how huge the fraud is. When I was in college, I knew of people who were perpetual students so they’d continue getting aid. I have elderly patients who worked their entire lives who can barely afford their medication. When I see things like this smh

Full time student?.. nawww. Full time government recipient.

It takes awhile for things to sink in an land with people. Keep doing these w/your other content. You’re good at it and you’re the only one doing it. You’re giving people lots of ideas….

did you know that university students get food stamps? I live in a college town, and those students have no shame...also this new generation of college age kids mostly buy candy and snacks with them.

This is absolutely deflating; we’re tired of budgeting and doing without so that people like this can go on extravagant shopping sprees every week and stock their shelves and freezers on our dime?!!?! Something’s wrong with this pic!

We are really really struggling. I’m staying home with our kids currently because of a neck/ spinal injury. Surgery got pushed back, only pushing us behind. I wish I had even a fraction of what these people get. We are making ends meet, but man does it take a toll on a marriage 😩

I think we need to make a video of ourselves shopping with our own kids. And we go down the aisles and we say to our kids- “ sorry kids! We can’t get that right now cause we can’t afford anything since mom & dad worked all month, just to buy it for someone else!”🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️😡

😅 I’m inclined to make videos and put a picture on my credit card that looks like a stamp Unit cost shopping and quality ingredients. And then show how to make the goodies without the poisons.

It’s amazing to me how warped our society has become. I remember as a child the sheer dread and shame felt when our family needed to use ‘assistance’ for a period. The embarrassment as a child that I felt and the discomfort I witnessed my parents have using food stamps as compared to these people is WILD! What has happened to us as a society America?
