𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐋-𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐄 Yumbe District has taken a major step in Uganda’s mineral development journey with the launch of the Euro Gold Small-Scale Mining Project, strengthening efforts to formalise artisanal and small-scale mining and promote responsible exploitation of Uganda’s mineral resources. State Minister for Mineral Development Phiona Nyamutoro said the launch demonstrates Government’s commitment to developing the mineral sector under NDP IV. She noted that Yumbe and Zombo are among gold-rich areas in West Nile and urged Euro Gold to comply with the law, create jobs and internships, support communities and progressively move into medium- and large-scale mining. She reaffirmed Government’s resolve to close illegal mining operations and called for improved safety, insurance and healthcare for miners. Euro Gold CEO Ben Feni said the company spent more than two years surveying and exploring the area before securing its mining ground. Its operations cover about 79 square kilometres across West Nile, with Yumbe as its pioneer site. The company targets production of at least 20kg of gold per week and plans to establish a processing plant to strengthen traceability and accountability. “We are going to build our nation,” Feni said. Assimwe Kenneth, CEO of the Uganda Association of Artisanal and Small-Scale Miners, commended Euro Gold and Government for supporting formalisation. He urged communities to keep children in school and out of mining, encouraged the use of PPE and called for accessible insurance schemes for small-scale miners. Tusigwire Julius, Head of the Mineral Police Unit, said the unit, established in 2017, is responsible for combating illegal mining, mineral smuggling, fraud and forced labour. He revealed that more than 15 illegal mining sites have been closed this year, while raising concern over recent deaths in illegal mining sites. Eng. Grace Nakku, from the Office of the Commissioner, Minerals and Energy Department, said responsible mining is key to attracting investment and growing Uganda’s mineral sector. She advised that only people aged 18 and above should enter mining sites and encouraged Euro Gold to scale up while continuing to support artisanal and small-scale miners. The launch reinforces Government’s commitment to a formal, safe, responsible and investment-driven mining sector that creates jobs, supports communities and contributes to Uganda’s economic transformation.

Kunne Lal is DEAD according to the Election Commission of India, but here he is on video - alive and talking. We found him while auditing the deleted voters list of Lal Gumbad Camp. He had no idea he had been declared dead and deleted. Now for Kunne Lal to get back on the rolls, he has to fill Form 6 which is actually for new voters! This is how ECI is evading accountability- by recording him as a new voter, his wrongful deletion by the Commission is invisiblized - no auditable trail will remain of how many such voters were wrongly deleted.

It’s almost getting comical at this point. Trump literally said there would be “no exemptions” to his reciprocal tariffs (see video) and MAGA cheered. “No, with reciprocal [tariffs] you don’t need to,” he said. Now, suddenly he’s backtracking again and adding a bunch of exemptions to his reciprocal tariffs. And MAGA is cheering yet again. It’s almost as if he has no idea what he’s doing and MAGA doesn’t stand for anything except whatever Trump says and does.

Use whatever method that works for you. But this is why I can’t use the line on my ball to putt. Here is a close up of Aaron Rai’s putt from today. To be fair I have no idea what Aaron Rai’s process is on the green. Not sure if he’s trusting the line of the putter face or the line of the ball. Or maybe neither. All I know is if I ever look down and see conflicting lines, I’ll start second guessing everything about my read.

He can squeal all he wants…..to try to keep truth from his following. But the video….. simple side by side video. SHOUTS……. HE’S A HITTING MORON He shoots at the wrong target regularly. Jack is 20 years old with no signs of slowing down. He now has a problematic ankle that we are sparing no expense on keeping him comfortable on. Not for our use but because he does not handle life at the farm well. He is happiest with a purpose and just being around the barn. I have had him in my life since he was a yearling and owned him since he was 3. It is not a thought I want to have that he is getting up there in age.

This is not a Chinese family going on vacation with their dog. This is a dog likely bought from a wet market for meat. They have tied the poor animal to the back of their car and are driving on the highway as if he is just luggage. He has no idea what is waiting for him. That is what makes this so heartbreaking. This dog is still alive, still trusting, still innocent — and yet he is being treated with no care, no mercy, and no dignity. Dog meat eating is still a cruel reality in parts of China. Many of these dogs are stolen pets or helpless strays. No dog deserves this fate. Dogs are companions. They are not food.

Pay close attention to the way they are bringing Nicolás Maduro down the stairs! He is fully blindfolded and has ears covered. No idea where he is. No way to call anyone. Imagine (overnight) going from leading a large country and living in luxury, to being dragged into prison by dozens of military personnel. What do you think is going through his mind right now? He could be facing prison for life.

This fast moving fellow with blue boots caught my attention yesterday. He’s Solly McKay, an Essendon VFL player. He’s turning 22 this month and is 187cm. Played a total of 33 VFL games with the Dons. Eighteen of those were this year and four times he finished with 20 plus disposals. I have no idea if he is in the frame for the SSP spot but I like his speed and power.

Politicians will always be politicians This is why I am not easily moved by mumu outrage online. Peter Obi says he is visiting victims of last year's Yelwata massacre. His whole body is campaign billboard of NDC. And he was moving with a battalion of press people. But he says it's not political. 😂 Obi has not visited Lilu Community or Azia or Orsumoghu, all in Anambra State, his home state. They have all experienced the horror of insecurity in the hands of IPOB (never mind that Obi said IPOB have not done anything wrong). You won't see Obi in Oru in Imo State or even ordinary Ihiala or Mgbidi. So, while I condemn every form of violence against people, it is also necessary that politicians like Obi tone down the hypocrisy and desperation to milk the misfortune of communities for political gains so as not to attract this type of political response from people who understand the game. Obi obviously has been looking for a scene of tragedy to visit and "console" but since there is no new massacre and that the intensity of insecurity has been ebbing considerably over the past two months, he decides to return to Yelwata, Benue for photo ops. We all know what we are doing...
