No. Not a solution. Just don’t use straw where it isn’t necessary.

We can use high standard plastic. And also we need to change our habits and improve our civic sense. Singapore also uses plastic but they recycle ♻️ 100% plastic waste also. And we throw plastic everywhere so that causes the problem.

Straws themselves are bad. A number of countries have banned usage of straws. Reason: drinks consumes go directly to the gut by passing mouth, which has nutritive additions

Sadly only when a German company Leaf Republic started making plates from natural leaves as biodegradable alternative to plastic(idea came frm ancient Indian traditions of using leaves for tableware) did pople in India realize that using leaves as plates is not backward tradition

I never use staws. Neither my kids. From 20 years.
