It’s hard to find a more hypocritical political class in the wide world than that of the Brussels bureaucrats. They demand that we sever ourselves from Russian gas, meanwhile, more Russian LNG is coming to Western Europe than ever before. They also want to get rid of Russian oil, unless of course they can buy it via some Asian detour. European people are sick of Brussels’ lies and deceit. They want affordable energy prices and economic prosperity!

Economist Richard Wolff: "We are living in a completely different world than we once were. The empire is declining. We are not strong, we are weak. We no longer produce the bulk of the world's output, nor do we control the bulk of global trade. The US dollar, which dominated the global monetary system throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, no longer holds the same position. Central banks around the world once held dollars as the primary backing for their own currencies because the dollar was considered as good as gold. That is no longer the case.
