Today, when Pakistan's generals and corrupt politicians claim that they will bring development to the Baloch people, it is nothing less than a mockery for us. A seventy-year-old state is attempting to teach the art of development to a nation and civilization that is 9,000 years old. Pakistan plunders our natural resources worth trillions of dollars and, by wrapping this plunder and economic exploitation in the cover of CPEC, calls it development. We tell them that the sixty million people of Balochistan have now decided that they are fully capable of developing themselves, building their own roads, developing the infrastructure of their own country, the Republic of Balochistan, and making Balochistan's economy and foreign policy self-reliant. The obstacle to Balochistan's development and prosperity is not the Baloch people, but Pakistan's corrupt politicians and its terrorist military. In civilized societies, serving in the armed forces is generally regarded as a matter of honor and pride. However, Pakistan's military has, lost its credibility and public respect due to massive scale of corruption, terrorism, mass killings, and economic misconduct. It is an international mercenary force that has evolved into a mafia-like institution. Balochistan's CPEC: The corridor of death for occupiers 3rd July, 2026 Throughout history, occupying powers have deployed their military forces into occupied territories to seize and exploit the wealth and resources of the indigenous population. The British Empire followed the same colonial strategy, constructing railways, roads, and other infrastructure not for the benefit of the local Baloch people, but to facilitate the extraction and transportation of the natural resources of Balochistan and the Indian subcontinent to serve the interest of the great Britain at that time. It is important to note that Pakistan’s Punjab province does not possess significant reserves of oil, gas, coal, copper, or other major natural resources. Much of the wealth that sustains Pakistan’s economy comes from resources extracted from Balochistan. The people of the Republic of Balochistan have now decided to block illegal mining and disrupt what they consider the unlawful exploitation of their national wealth. There is a growing sentiment that Balochistan’s resources should benefit its own people first, rather than being misuse by Pakistan's radical forces and corrupt politician to spread terrorism in Afghanistan, India and fund Pakistan's war against the Baloch nation. Once the Baloch succeed in cutting off the flow of their natural resources to Pakistan, it is confirmed that they could severely damage Pakistan’s fragile economy within a short period of few months. As some Baloch activists say, “Balochistan holds the PIN code to the ATM that Pakistan has been using for decades,” a metaphor suggesting that the country’s economic lifeline is deeply tied to the loot and plunder of trillion dollar worth of Balochistan’s natural wealth.

If Afghanistan had not picked a fight with Pakistan today it could have benefited from Pakistan in a way equivalent to acquiring two modern and advanced JF 17 fighter jets, the price of a single JF 17 is approximately 25 million dollars and two aircraft together cost around 50 million dollars, on the other hand trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been completely suspended for nearly a month and the financial loss Afghanistan is facing is roughly equal to the value of those two JF 17 jets, although Pakistan cannot sell JF 17 aircraft to Afghanistan it could have provided related defensive capabilities such as missiles used on the JF 17 platform, however Pakistan has now ended the so called brotherly approach toward Afghanistan, just as Pakistan has kept its airspace closed to Indian airlines for months to apply pressure, it has now shut its land routes to Afghanistan to bring strategic clarity, this matters because Afghanistan conducts nearly 70 to 80 percent of its trade through Pakistan and goods from Karachi used to reach Afghanistan within three to four days, with Pakistan closing its routes Afghanistan is now considering the Iranian corridor which is slower more expensive and less efficient under current conditions, as a result Afghanistan is facing severe economic stress and the impact of these losses is becoming increasingly visible.
