The kind of solidarity that we were allowed to display against overburdening immigration while we were in the EU is exactly the kind of solidarity that dissolved when we left. Due to Nigel Farage’s Brexit, and due to the millions of times that Nigel sat on the panel of BBC’s Question Time. It’s time to look at the BBC as part of this problem.

Davey is spot on. Since with the party conference he and LibDem are having space in the programme (rather than Reform) you can hear them saying sensible and reasonable things, it looks they are the only real opposition to Farage nonsense, much better than Tory and Labour.

To associate the small boats with Brexit is simply to lie! As a Christian I'm happy Ed represents Liberalism, but sadden he's a Christian. The only relevance Ed Davey has is that of a fool when riding an imaginary horse.

The EU is prosecuting various EU member states such as Poland as they refuse to take migrants. We hear a lot about the EU having quotas to take these third world people, but we never hear about the EU sending them back to where they come from. Brexit is a result of immigration no doubt, but it is because we had no control of our borders. The Government could quite easily stop the boats through various measures such as having interment camps and stopping all illegal freebies like the hotels. Once these people realise they're no longer welcome here and life would be very difficult, they will stop coming.

Don’t like Davey, but at least he says it like it is on Farage and his Brexit roots to why this country is in this place. Farage didn’t need to be in parliment at the time to help break Britain. He did a fine job of it & theres plenty who have closed their eyes to that fact!
