Most people think fasting is just starvation or a fad diet. But here's the science: A 48-hour fast increases growth hormone by 500% and activates autophagy, your cellular cleanup system. These changes begin at hour 16 and rival expensive longevity treatments.

I’m 48 hours into a 72-hour fast… and this is where things get really interesting. What’s happening inside your body between hours 48 and 72? There’s a lot going on when it comes to fuel use and metabolic health. I’ll let Joe Orton break it down.

Dr. Mindy Pelz laid out a practical fasting schedule: - 3-day water fast twice a year (e.g. January & September) to clear senescent cells - 48-hour fast once a quarter for mental health & mood - 36-hour fast once a month if weight loss is stuck 24-hour fast once a week as a baseline - Shorter daily windows (12–17 hours) the rest of the time, adjusted around your cycle Prolonged fasting (48–72 hours) significantly ramps up autophagy and stem cell regeneration. Valter Longo’s research shows periodic 3-day fasts or fasting-mimicking diets can reduce biological age markers. Shorter fasts (24–36h) improve insulin sensitivity and fat loss. Different fasting lengths trigger specific benefits, from cellular cleanup to better mood and metabolism. What fasting schedule have you found works best for you?

This guy has LESS THAN 600 followers on X. Yet he's at $20K MRR and he built his app in 48 hours. This is one of the smartest distribution plays I've seen so far... Here’s the top 4% of my chat with Hasaam: > 90-day revenue timeline from 0 → $21.8K MRR (1:40) > The distribution hack he used overnight (4:04) > His 48-hour build sprint, hour by hour (5:02) > The 6-step playbook to pick an idea (8:49) > The exact tech stack for shipping fast (11:12)

American VCs brag about 48-hour due diligence. I once spent 48 hours reviewing a startup’s cookie consent implementation. We passed. Speed is not a virtue. Speed is a compliance violation waiting to happen. In my Masterclass, I explain why “move fast and break things” is how empires collapse. Lesson 5: Why American VCs Are Wrong About Speed. Only serious founders will understand.

Please enjoy this Cheeky Pint / Dwarkesh Patel crossover with Elon Musk. Dwarkesh was most interested in how Elon is going to make space datacenters work. I was most interested in Elon's method for attacking hard technical problems, and why it hasn’t been replicated as much as you might expect. But we got into plenty of topics in this three-hour session. 00:00:23 Space GPUs 00:35:39 Alignment 00:58:48 xAI 01:15:01 Optimus 01:28:03 China 01:40:46 Management 02:16:38 DOGE 02:34:58 Space GPUs redux

Dr. Pradip Jamnadas (cardiologist who's treated 30,000+ patients) drops a bold take on breakfast: Skip it for most adults. In this eye-opening clip from his Diary of a CEO interview with Steven Bartlett, he advises: - If you must eat breakfast → A couple of eggs (or for vegetarians: kefir with a handful of berries + inulin powder for gut support). - Better yet? Ditch breakfast entirely → Aim for 18:6 intermittent fasting (18-hour fast, 6-hour eating window) or even OMAD (one meal a day) at dinner for peak energy, better heart health, and metabolic reset. He practices OMAD 3-4x/week himself—and claims it gives him more energy than eating in the morning. Viral hook: What if the "most important meal of the day" is actually holding back your health? Game-changer for heart & energy... or too extreme? What's your breakfast routine (or lack of it)?

Dr. Pradip Jamnadas delivers a crystal-clear message in this 58-second clip: Why fast? To crash insulin. - Insulin only rises when you eat. - Constant eating = constant high insulin. - Fasting (18–24 hours) drops insulin dramatically → next meal triggers far less insulin release (sensitive response vs. “a whole gallon”). - His clinic rule: Eat once or twice a day max, in a 6-hour window (18-hour fast). - “Why are you eating if you just fed?” Simple, brutal logic: Stop grazing. Give your body real breaks from food → reset insulin sensitivity → better metabolic health. This one habit changed everything for many of his patients. Do you intermittent fast (16:8, 18:6, OMAD)? Notice any difference in energy, hunger, or cravings? Or are you still eating 5–6 times a day? Share your experience below — real results only.

Dana White says a 72-hour water fast (done a couple times a year) completely changed how he feels. On Adin Ross, he described it as giving insane mental clarity and making you feel incredible. He sticks strictly to water + zero-calorie electrolytes the whole time and calls it one of the most beneficial things he’s ever done for himself. 48–72 hour water fasting has been shown in studies to significantly increase autophagy (cellular repair and cleanup), boost growth hormone levels, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce systemic inflammation. It also enhances metabolic flexibility, helping the body burn fat more efficiently. Have you ever tried a multi-day water fast? Would you consider doing a 72-hour one?

Struggling with stubborn belly fat that won't budge? Renowned cardiologist Dr. Pradip Jamnadas, with over 30 years of experience helping patients improve heart health and metabolism, shares his practical step-by-step approach to intermittent fasting in this insightful 58-second clip. He explains how to gradually build fasting habits: - Start gently: A 12-hour fasting window (e.g., stop eating at 8 PM, eat again at 8 AM) with no-calorie drinks only—do this for 2-3 weeks to ease in. - Progress: Move to 18-6 (18 hours fasting, 6-hour eating window) using water, black coffee/tea, or green tea. - For bigger goals (like significant weight loss or supporting metabolic health): Incorporate a 48-hour fast weekly, or every 9-10 days combine OMAD (One Meal A Day) with a 3-day water fast. Dr. Jamnadas emphasizes starting slow and listening to your body—many find it boosts energy over time! Important: This is general educational info. Always consult your healthcare professional before trying fasting, especially if you have conditions like diabetes or are on medications. What's one small change you've made for better health lately?

Starting this Sunday at 9pm, come and join me for a 48 hour water only fast. I felt amazing after my last 72 hour one and health benefits are well documented. I lost 9lb last time and have put back on 3lb but I have just been on holiday 😂 the electrolytes I use are from optimal hydration (ionic fulvic acid) but you can purchase from lots of places online if you wish to use any. Good luck, let’s support each other and let me know if you are joining me 🙌
