The Israelis may not realise it yet, but they have entered a new era of international isolation and sanctions. This shift is driven less by governments than by public sentiment. This is likely to accelerate in the coming months and years. I believe it will culminate in a scenario where Israelis are required to obtain visas before travelling to European countries. They may also be asked to explain their whereabouts during the Gaza War and whether they reside in West Bank settlements. It won't be fun to be an Israeli, but they brought it on themselves, with the help (sarcasm) of their social media supporters.

🚨 ED MILIBAND HOW DARE YOU? You are a Capo of the antisemitic Labour government ! Today you stood at Labour conference and told millions of people who were “moved and outraged by the plight of the Palestinian people”: “We hear you. You were right.” And then you announced that Britain will ban imports from Israeli settlements and disrupt British finance, construction and services connected to settlements. You also described “settler terrorists” as carrying out ethnic cleansing in the West Bank.(The Labour Party) simple question? Who exactly were you telling “you were right” to? Because British Jews have watched antisemitism rise while Jewish communities have faced intimidation and fear. Hamas committed the October 7 massacre. You yourself called Hamas’s attack “murderous” and said the world was right to condemn it. You also said Labour stands against antisemitism and recognises the threats Israel faces. (The Labour Party) So why does your speech place such enormous emphasis on Israel and Israeli settlers while the ideology, terrorism, hostages and threat posed by Hamas remain the fundamental security issue? And I will say something very uncomfortable. This is my opinion When I look at policies and rhetoric that increasingly portray Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria as the problem ,communities that Britain is willing to sanction, isolate and economically target I cannot help seeing disturbing historical echoes. I am NOT saying Britain today is Nazi Germany. I am saying that Jews should know better than anyone where the progressive normalisation of treating Jewish existence as something that needs to be restricted can lead. My fear is precisely because I know Jewish history. @Ed_Miliband himself spoke today about his parents fleeing Nazi persecution. He described his father escaping the Nazi invasion and his mother surviving hiding in Poland while 60 members of her family were killed. The Labour Party So Ed remember the lesson of that history. A two-state solution cannot mean: 🇵🇸 A Palestinian state 🇮🇱 A territory where Jews are expected to disappear If Jewish people are told they cannot live somewhere because they are Jewish, that deserves serious scrutiny. And history matters. Jordan expelled the Jewish population from the Old City of Jerusalem after its capture in 1948, and Jewish homes and synagogues in the Jewish Quarter were subsequently destroyed or damaged Jews did not suddenly appear in Judea and Samaria yesterday Our connection to the land is thousands of years old. You can oppose particular Israeli government policies. You can oppose settlement expansion. You can support Palestinian self-determination. But Jewish history, Jewish security and Jewish rights must not become negotiable. And there is another question I want answered Britain announced another £88 million package of support for Palestinians last week, while saying the aid will provide healthcare, clean water, sanitation and other essential services. The UK says it is working with Jordan and Qatar on humanitarian access and Gaza’s recovery. ( Then show British taxpayers exactly where the money goes and what safeguards are in place. And regarding Qatar: I-think claiming Qatar funds the BBC & Labour Party! But transparency is not unreasonable. Follow the money Follow the evidence Ask the questions Because British Jews should not have to watch their own government embrace one narrative while repeatedly placing pressure on the Jewish state. Ed Miliband, you say your parents’ history gave you a responsibility to fight oppression and injustice. Then remember this too: Jewish people are not the oppressors simply because they are Jewish. We survived the Nazis We survived expulsions We survived pogroms We survive October the 7 And we will survive! Never again means never again — for Jews, Palestinians, and every human being on Oct the 7we see how ProHamas be on the streets celebrating again!

if we were right @Ed_Miliband why are people still being arrested for protesting against #genocide? Why are UK taxpayers subsidising "therapeutic healing" programs for IDF soldiers through donations channeled via UK-registered partner charities that qualified for 25% Gift Aid?

What I find most offensive is that Ed Miliband invoked his grandmother, who found refuge in Israel after the Nazis murdered 60 members of her family, and then moved directly from that history into one of the most hostile speeches toward an Israeli government by a British Foreign Secretary. Israel was sanctuary for his family, while he is championing condemnation, economic pressure and international isolation against the very country that gave his grandmother a refuge.

Performative bollocks. Palestinianism is a neo fascist cult. One must follow the party line. No dissent or disagreement will be tolerated. Freedom of thought, opinion and speech will be denied. Those who refuse to pander to the mob will be attacked, ostracised, denied their basic rights. Palestinianism is a virus that rots the brain, destroys the capacity for independent thought and leads to Western dumbfuckery!

Just to confirm. The government is still aiding the Israeli government with reconnaissance flights over Gaza, effectively aiding the genocide. The UK government is still sending them weapons and F-16 parts that are dropping bombs on kids in refugee camps. This is pure politik!!

Utter shameful. This creature shakes hands and deals with the Iranian terrorist government who killed 10s of thousands of civilians. He takes the side of another terrorist state that all other Muslims won't entertain. Our Government is captured.

Lame measures that can be circumvented by registering a couple of miles away, as many already do to avoid tariffs. Proscribe the IDF. Investigate Brits who served with them. Revoke their citizenship like Shamima Begum if they leave. Sancton Israel entirely.
