Firing Ed O'Neill from Married with Children made about as much sense as having a bus tour across the South over Christmas, for Dutch. Both were bonkers ideas. At least Diller was man enough to admit that he was wrong, about the decision to fire Ed. Ed, as Al Bundy, was hilarious, and was the heart of the show.
