Edgar Rice Burroughs was probably spinning in his grave Hadron Collider style when this was released, but I was a kid by the time it finally made its way to TV one Sunday afternoon, and I loved it. THE LAND THAT TIME FORGOT (1974) #DougMcClure

When I heard this song come on as a kid, I knew it was time to shut the TV off.

First time making pho and this is how I did it. Cooking a new cuisine for the first time was more challenging than I was expecting. There was a lot to learn and mistakes along the way but happy it turned out okay. The pho wasn't quite what I was expecting. It had good meaty flavor but lacking that authentic taste. The oxtail fried rice, however, was a nice surprise.

Darko Rajakovic on his time in OKC: “When I first came to interview for a job, I stayed in downtown. It was Sunday afternoon and I went for a walk. There was nobody in the streets. Compliment to the city and its growth… It is very rewarding to see that Mr. Bennett, Sam and the group of people… Definitely congratulations on their championship.”

I was just a kid when Ken Griffey Jr made his catch against Luis Gonzalez and the Detroit Tigers. At the time, I thought it was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen

The False Memory OST finally dropped a couple days ago and I’ve been waiting for this specific soundtrack to release ever since i first heard it back in 2024 when it was first used in a trailer. When this trailer first dropped, It was my first time ever hearing about False Memory and I was completely blown away by it, not only by its visuals but by the soundtrack, holy fucking shit man it felt like I was ascending to a higher plane of existence. Hands down the best animated trailer ever made, the visual direction paired with this incredible soundtrack is nothing short of generational. For the past 2 years, I was so obsessed with this trailer I couldn't stop rewatching it, I just knew this series was gonna be a fucking masterpiece when it officially released. I cannot wait to re-watch it again in the near future.

"I laughed over the Ycee 'Olodo Uprising' topic, not because I found it funny, but because he was identifying something in his time. However, he was seeing the latter stage of something that started in my own generation when I was probably his age. I spoke about weaponized ignorance for the first time in 1994 when I wrote a piece on it. He is identifying the same phenomenon. The 'Olodo Uprising' was fathered by weaponized ignorance." — Dele Farotimi

Wow, Usopp did put up a much better fight than I expected. Seeing Luffy cry like that was probably the first time since he was a kid. That was when I lost it 😭😭😭

When Eiffel 65 released 'Blue (Da Ba Dee),' it was a flop, selling about 200 copies. But then it got picked up by a small local radio station—and within days, it was steamrolling its way to becoming one of the biggest hit songs of the 1990s. This is how it was made.

Udonis Haslem on when he knew it was time to retire: “It was around the time we got Hassan Whiteside. I was like, ‘Ain’t no way in hell he’s getting my minutes.’ I didn’t know he can grab the rim and keep his feet on the ground. I could not get a rebound on this guy. When I saw that, I was like, ‘it’s time for me to go.’” (via NBA on Prime)

KAT: "I just felt a calm and a peace that had to be come from the woman above (his mom). I felt like a kid. It was just fun out here. It felt like I was a kid getting ready to go play my Saturday AAU games and Sunday AAU games. In a way I felt like I was seeing her in the stands"

When I was a kid, I wished I could fly. I would dream about flying close to the water and feeling the waves beneath my fingers. I was free. I made this inspired by those dreams and at the same time practice in Houdini.

Trump: "I think there was nothing like, in history, when I won the first time. That was the most unbelievable thing, and then, coming back, some people would say it was bigger than the first time... In a way, [2020] made the second victory bigger, much bigger."
