Time for another one since people didn’t believe I got the EU virus cured. A unique setup: - driving monitoring that’s there (no covered camera and it doesn’t bother you at all) - all the EU features that we need are enabled (it does yield etc) - FSD V14 - disabled all EU and UN R171 mandated restrictions (doesn’t turn off in the rain, doesn’t want you to look at the road and regularly check surroundings and more) - you can see it’s max speed at all times (not like in the US) I honestly think this is one of the best configurations of FSD globally, it changed my mind about its potential and reminded how much it is going to be restricted by the EU mafia once it lands officially (in two weeks 🤣). Thankfully we can have it today already and tweak it later once the RDW saga is over. (DM me!) Join us for a 25 minute ride around Kraków, Poland. 5 PM Friday traffic and voice commentary starts in the middle as we enter the city. It didn’t get anything wrong, just one detour due to wrong map data - it recovered!

Marijuana has medical benefits! Freedom! I get all that, and I’m not here to fight anyone on its medical benefits. Problem is all you rabid pot smokers use that as an excuse to get stoned constantly. 9/10 do not use it for its medicinal properties. You are lying to yourself and others around you. It doesn’t make you more productive, it creates an illusion and reformats your mind. Your are getting high every night, and in some cases all day. Everything is better stoned you say. I function better you say. Do you listen to yourself? You are addicted and are groped by a plant. I use it to relax. Why? Marijuana gives you anxiety, paranoia, complacency, and terrible habits. Munchies are fun? Nah you fat. My DMs are filled with people that used to fight me and say I’m wrong, but now thank me for showing them the light and quitting. All I need is one person to quit off most and its purpose is done. The rest can keep getting high, while the rest of us function in society and create better worlds. You going to get high with your kids also? Think that’s cool? You lost the game. Corporations are creating strains to wipe out your judgement and profit off your sloth. You are losing; and it’s time to break the chains that plant has on your life.

A woman orders a hot coffee at her local shop. When she gets to the window, the worker hands her an iced coffee by mistake. She points it out, and he immediately remakes it as a hot coffee, then says he paid for *both* drinks himself since it was his error. Before she can even react, he hands her back her dollar tip, too. She looks genuinely surprised, maybe even a little uncomfortable. I’m torn. Employees make mistakes all the time, and most workplaces don’t require workers to pay out of pocket for them. Covering the drinks *and* returning the tip feels less like kindness and more like making a point. It may look polite on the surface, but that extra gesture gives off a subtle edge, almost like saying, “See what you made me do.” Was that genuine accountability or quiet, passive-aggressive payback?

Introducing /visual-plan - a skill to generate rich, visual plans for Claude Code and Codex. Plan mode in Claude Code is incredible. But I always find my eyes glazing over when it gives me this huge markdown essay in my terminal. I found I can make much better visual plans with reusable components. So I made a skill called `/visual-plan`. It generates plans as MDX with visual, interactive components. Diagrams, interactive API specs, schema design changes, annotated code, and even pan and zoomable wireframes. So for any UI work, you can look at a wireframe first, comment on it, iterate, and then have the agent work. I’ve found this to be a much more intuitive interface for reasoning about what the agent is doing. It’s somewhat inspired by that popular post about how HTML is better than Markdown. But HTML can be slow and verbose to write. And it doesn’t look good checked into a repo. This has really made me feel like humans and engineering are entering a new abstraction phase, where we reason about things at the plan level. As long as the plan is good, agents are getting more and more reliable at executing on it. Almost to the degree that we trust the C compiler to compile to assembly reliably. Plans are the new intermediate representation. I also made a skill for the reverse of this, called `/visual-recap`. After the agent works, it gives you a recap of everything it did. Same idea: wireframes, interactive API specs and diffs, schemas, annotated code, etc. So now when you’re reviewing what the agent did for you, or looking at a pull request of somebody else’s code, you can see a visual recap instead of just reading a wall of text. It’s all free and open source. You can find it on my GitHub. Will link to it in the reply because we all know how dumb these algorithms are with links.

What you are seeing here is a totally revamped and improved version of a Dreamcast homebrew classic: the Caves tech demo, captured directly from a Sega Dreamcast. FreakDave's original demo already impressed the hell out of me when I first saw it several years ago, getting back into DC development after a several-year hiatus... but this new demo is absolutely INCREDIBLE stuff. It's powered by FreakDave's FDV engine, and now features vertex-based ambient occlusion, light baking, approximated global illumination, fog, and crazy water effects in addition to the dynamic lighting of the original all running at higher FPS! ...and now I can brag about the fact that he's using my SH4ZAM linear algebra library for the DC's SH4 CPU to accelerate all of the math behind the effects! Los Angeles residents chant “Ride the D” at the opening of the LA Metro D Line extension The furry community came out to chant “Ride the D” Huge lines of people all chanted at the gates, and even after they all went down and got on the transit, they again chant “Ride the D” This is a lot of hype for just a public transportation extension is LA… it’s a good thing though because the residents are getting crushed by gas prices and traffic times It now connects Downtown LA to Beverly Hills in about 20 minute with more expansions planned It’s a good thing until you hear the price… The D Line 9-mile Westside extension, including the new stations, has a total estimated cost of around $9.5–10 billion Insanity

Can Tesla Self-Driving pay for its own $99 subscription? The goal is simple - make $99 with Uber Deliveries using only Tesla FSD. The idea that a car can drive itself and 'make money' seems a bit far fetched, but we are basically there now with FSD. This video is a different style from my usual FSD videos, I try to edit it to be a bit more engaging to watch and fast paced. I hope you all enjoy it - it takes a ton of work to edit this and also just to go out and shoot them.
