We need your opinion. We found a dog with major deformities in her legs, struggling to survive on the streets. She suffers a lot—bullied by other dogs, abused, and mistreated by people. Should we bring her to our small shelter home? We already have many rescues, and it would be an added financial burden, but leaving her in this condition feels heartbreaking. What do you think? It never rains but it pours. Faye has deteriorated rapidly today. She still has control of her bodily functions, and can get around with a little help. It means 24 hr care from this point on, making sure she can get to her water and hay etc. we will be monitoring her QOL closely and talking with Dr Sophie at length about the options available 😢😢 Again, this all costs money and we need help. We also need to find new donors to keep funds coming in. So please please share ❤️

A citizen in Istanbul found an approximately 6-week-old kitten that had been left all alone on the street, crying for help and meowing from hunger and desperation. After feeding the kitten, the citizen took it to a shelter so it could be safe. But the story didn't end there. Most likely, the mother cat had only left her kitten for a short time to look for food. When she returned and couldn't find her kitten where she had left it, she immediately began searching for it. She wandered around the area for days, checking every shelter and clinic she came across. Then one day, she heard a meowing sound coming from a clinic. She immediately recognized that the voice belonged to her own kitten. Without hesitation, she followed the sound inside and went straight to her kitten. And the very first thing she did after being reunited with her baby was nurse it 🥺 How powerful is a mother's love... To recognize her own kitten's voice among countless others and never give up until she found it 😭❤️

In October we found Iris on a chain utterly broken. She’d been used for puppies and then left to slowly stave. She was like a skeleton. After building her back up, today she lives on a farm and her family take her to see the sunset at the beach daily and play with their kids and other dogs. You love to see it ❤️

🆘🆘She has spent half of her life in the shelter system.😭 Since 2022, Remy #A2061031 has been passed from one place to another, & returned again and again for the same reason…“too much energy.” Too much life, too much joy and too much dog for people who weren’t ready or a good match for her! So she kept losing everything over & over again. But today… we have a chance to finally change that 🙏🏻 We can give her what she needs to thrive. Remy is getting her shot, her real chance, but we can’t do it alone. We need help to bring her to safety, to cover her care, her transport, her supplies, her vet visit… and most importantly, we need a place for her to land. 🚨Just a temporary foster in SoCal for 2–3 weeks, somewhere calm where she can breathe & decompress after everything she’s been through.
