Education system at work.

I am the bookkeeper for our local Sewer District. The county is over the department. Because of this they are a government entity. They do NOT have to pay taxes. None.

Time to do away with the Department of Education

You are an employee and you pay taxes, of course. Your agency does not pay taxes on the taxes that it obtained from taxing others. A federal agency might pay some property tax locally but that is not what we’re talking about here. Please google it. This is embarrassing.
