Why not then remove all the silent letters and write them as they're pronounced

Bro is silencing those latters according to his own tongue pronunciation

Why add in those letters in the first place Mehn?! fuck!!

Not quite… he is wrong with the words that end with “ally” as the “a” in those words isn’t silent but pronounced with the unstressed vowel sound (the schwa). Also, “corps” has both “p and s” silent if singular and only “p” silent if plural. For “Rendezvous”, the first syllable isn’t pronounced as /ren/ but /ron/ BrE or /ra:n/ AmE. I’ll pause here for now. You can as well check my YouTube page to learn so much more on silent letters and anything else you’d like to know in English.

The corps is absolutely wrong, it’s pronounced as core /kɔːr/, where both the P & S are silent not cors

In Ibadan the “a” can never be silent here

Parliament can be pronounced with the 'i' and so can fracas be pronounced with the 's'.

He’s a bit wrong. The “cally” words don’t have the A silent. It’s just left unstressed. Same with button and more

The p in corps is silent ke😩.....English teachers have done more harm than good

Simple, remove the silent letters and leave the word the way you want it to be pronounced nah 😏

English hard Oooo But I learnt something ✅

English is harder than mathematics but some people won’t agree. Maths is just with formula/principle you’ll get arrive at your answer but in English you have to first read and understand before then you attempt and that’s a serious brain test

Why is it that intelligent people always have awkward hairdo?

When oyinbo people ready they will remove all the silent words and give us better version... I can't kill myself

Absolutely not South African English

😭😭😭No ways … when he started he was okay… After Yacht ,he went straight to the toilet 🚮

How about I sent u $100 instead of $1000 but don’t worry the last zero is silent.

English sef hard 😃

@ThabangCole 🤦🏿♂️

How person wan take remember all the silent letters bayi?

I don’t agree with everything he has said in this video. I wouldn’t want to judge him based on his tonation but which one is “condem-ma”? He even made a mistake in pronouncing “pronunciation” because the letter “u” is silent but he included it when he said it at the end of the video.

TPain😂 but the t is silent PAIN😂💔

That's for Ghanaians not Nigeria joor.. As a Yoruba man my accents no go allow me 😂

This is a very wrong way of teaching. Because they are thousand words with silent letters and you can’t show them all the words, it’s better to teach them how to determine letters that can be silent in any word.

Just wondering why we put letters that we know will not appear in pronouncution in words. It is wasts of character and ink 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Same with some word like Committee, psychology, etc That is why I like Yoruba writing and pronunciations, we don't have insignificant letter in Yoruba spelling

Why put letters just to silent them?😌😒

At least you have the knowledge. And I have the money.

How do we say Spain?,the s there is silent 😂

Corp is pronounced cor - p and s are silent.

Why are they silent? Why they are the from the beginning.
