However, it is a reminder that when talking with Hamas leaders in Doha, we are talking with the wrong actors who are completely disconnected from the militia on the ground inside Gaza. Told i24NEWS English: - As long as Qatar, Aljazeera, Turkey and Hamas remain in Gaza, things will not change. - If Israel decides to allow Gazans who are the opponents of Hamas to live in the 53 percent the IDF still controls, and these Gazans govern and reconstruct independent of Hamas, Qatar and Turkey, then we might see two rival models in Gaza. - I think Saudi Arabia is unhappy with Sharm el-Sheikh's Peace Deal, even if I doubt that Riyadh will ever air such frustration openly. For a country that is the leader of the Arab and Islamic bloc not to be part of talks or summit or has its signature on the deal suggests that Gaza continues to be the same old Islamist Qatar Hamas show.

Once again, Hamas has released hostages to the Red Cross in a more urban area of Gaza and done nothing to stop people from jumping on the Red Cross vehicles. Hamas could easily clear the roads for the convoy but they choose not to.

If the international community is really sincere about disarming Hamas and granting Gaza a new future, then they have to stop treating Hamas as a political entity and understand that it is a terrorist militia. The only way to make a terrorist group disarm is through military power. The only party that can effectively use military power to disarm Hamas is Israel... Yes, Israel, which you have tied its hands in the hope that terrorists will comply with diplomacy! It is amazing that some people still believe Hamas when they say they will dissolve and leave the government in Gaza! Hamas has already lost the government in Gaza since October 7. Rafah is now partially open. Israel has beeen pressured to open it and launch stage 2 of the plan, without any clear path to disarm Hamas. As long as Hamas has weapons and controls Gaza, the future is terror and war.

In our delegation meeting this week, Prime Minister Netanyahu made it clear that Israel has no plans for a long-term occupation of Gaza. I’m opposed to long-term occupation and annexation — but Hamas must go. I strongly support crushing Hamas terrorists and their last strongholds. I fervently back surging humanitarian aid and preventing Hamas from blocking it. We must urgently free the hostages being starved by Hamas, remove Hamas from power, and transition to an Arab-led peacekeeping force to bring lasting peace and safety for both innocent Palestinians and Israelis.

⚠️ Hamas has not disarmed yet, has not delivered the bodies of all the deceased Israeli hostages, and is hosted in Cairo to negotiate the future of Gaza! 👉 That is a clear manipulation of the 20-point Peace Plan, not only by Hamas, but also by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, that the U.S. Administration should not allow. 👉 Jordan's King Abdullah's statement that the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza should be a "peacekeeping" rather than a "peace-enforcing" force is also contradictory to what was agreed with U.S. President Trump at the Sharm el-Sheikh Summit two weeks ago and to points 15, 16, 17 of the peace plan which clearly says the mission of the ISF is to establish "control and stability" so the IDF can withdraw from the strip. 👉 The intentional absence of Arab Gulf countries, especially Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, from this conversation should be a matter of concern. 📺 I discussed this👆 and Egypt's involvement in the search for hostage bodies in Gaza today with @laura_i24 on i24NEWS English.
