Last Eid al-Adha, our martyr Hossam said to you: “We are approaching Eid al-Adha — bear witness that we have sacrificed ourselves.” Hossam was conveying to you the suffering of his people — and his own pain. The moon that heralds Eid is the same moon that graces Karva Chauth. The waters of the Ganga and Aab-e-Zamzam may have different names, but their essence remains the same. Embracing this spirit of unity, I joined my brothers and sisters in celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr. There are forces attempting to erode this harmony, to divide communities, to turn brother against brother. But Bengal has never bowed to the politics of hate, nor will it ever. This land belongs as much to Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore as it does to Kazi Nazrul Islam. On this auspicious occasion, let's pledge to rise above divisions, and to uphold the spirit of togetherness that defines our soil. Eid Mubarak!

I am waiting for it to reopen, and I am getting more anxious and impatient. Will we spend the next Eid in peace? I truly hope so. ❤️‍🩹🙏🫂🆘️ were right yesterday, I have to be happy for the children. Today I started very early, as my friends and I made breakfast well before dawn for the visitors of our kitchen. 🆘️ quite tired, but I am satisfied knowing I made Eid a bit better for several people in this neighbourhood. I will keep trying to see the bright side of things. Eid Mubarak, dear friends! ✨️ I am very grateful you are there. I couldn't do any of the things I do today without your help. Fred Matiang’i: If we were in government, we would not sign that kind of G-to-G arrangement. If was president, I would revamp NOC and ensure that it is doing its rightful role in this. Private sector companies and cartels in the marketing sector would not be involved in this. The solution is why we are asking for the replacement of this administration so that we can provide Kenya with a better government and more responsible leaders. 🐹: I mentioned this during today's show too. Back in the day, when I did group concerts with the members and sang 'Epiphany', there was always a lot of applause. 🐹: So, this time, there are a lot of songs where we jump around, but I was worried everyone would just clap along again. What if that's all the response we get? I was really concerned about that. 🐹: So even while planning the Japan concert, I was thinking, how can I get the audience to jump and really hype up the mood? That was what I thought about the most. But honestly, that was a totally unnecessary worry. 🐹: At first, even before the show started, during soundcheck, everyone was already having so much fun, and this time, since we did it in a brighter venue in Korea, I didn't notice, but here in the dark, everyone was holding their ARMY Bombs. 🐹: And for this soundcheck, we did a rock beat, and everyone matched the beat perfectly with their hands, so when a lot of people came in, there were literally hundreds of ARMY Bombs moving in sync to “Rope It” 🐹: So I thought, should I tell the stage director, ‘Director, everyone is doing so well today, maybe I don't need to worry about this after all? What do you think’? And the director agreed.

Last new year’s I was with my family and my best friends celebrating in one of the oldest and most beautiful hotels in Gaza- Al Mathaf. The place was destroyed, and some of the people are gone forever. I pray that this year we see light, that this year we see justice, that this year we see peace. I hope I can hug my mother soon, be back with the rest of my family and friends in Gaza… I hope that this nightmare ends and I really hope that I’ll still find some strength within me to keep going. May everyone of you have a happy, and blessed year… May Palestine be free very soon!

ABP News and some other channels portrayed a home video from Eid as being linked to the TCS case. The channels are showing a video of Tausif. In the clip, Tausif is seen putting a black cap on his Hindu colleague Krishna. The news channels are presenting it like this: “Tausif was seen making a Hindu employee wear a cap before namaz.” However, it is clearly audible in the video that Tausif says: “This is a special cap brought from Rajasthan, for Krishna. He has come to our home for the first time, so we are honoring him. Eid Mubarak, brother.” Krishna also wishes him “Eid Mubarak.” They hug each other and sit together to eat sheer khurma. The way the news channels are presenting this video suggests an intention to portray Muslims negatively.

It's with a heavy heart I'm here in Damascus at the Mar Elias Church, the site of a suicide bomber on June 22, who came in this entrance, shot several people, and then killed himself right here with a bomb that killed 30 and wounded over 50. This was the first attack in decades in Damascus, so it shook the Christian community here and throughout Syria. But it also united the Syrians against these kinds of terrorist attacks. In fact, I was surprised to learn from the priests here that a majority of the people that came in to clean up the day after the bombing were actually the Muslim neighbors, along with the Christian neighbors. And when they collected donations for the families and church, a majority (85%) of them were from the Muslim community. This shows that while there are sectarian divisions in Syria caused by decades of brutal Assad rule that was meant to divide these religious communities, there's a desire to live in peace together. And the way the community responded to this horrific attack just shows that there's hope for Syria. Please pray for Syria, pray for the Christians still recovering from this horrific attack in the neighborhood, and for all the people of Syria - Sunni, Christian, Arab, Kurd, Alawite, Yazidi, Druze, and others that mostly want to live together in peace in an inclusive Syria. The last shot of this video shows the martyrs from this horrific attack. Please continue to pray for their families, this community, and this beautiful country.

Today, I hired a cab to airport. I was surprised to see that the driver's name was Babar. As a secuIar person, I angrily asked Babar, why is he working on day of Eid? 😡 He said, he doesn't celebrate Eid. This answer infuriated me but it shocked me as well & I asked him why?? Babar said, when he was a child, he had a goat named Gulabo. He told me that his father & uncle first did wrong things with his Gulabo & then sacrificed it. 😔😔 By this time, tears were rolling down from Babar's eyes. I was shaking & trembling with anger and started abusing Babar's father and uncle. Babar calmed me down. I asked Babar if I can do anything for him. Babar said, I don't want any money from you but you must post #BakraLivesMatter and #AllEyesOnGoat today so that no other Babar loses his Gulabo on Eid.
