$IBM is having its worst day in nearly six decades after its CEO said customers redirected quarterly spending toward servers, storage and memory to secure supply-constrained infrastructure ahead of expected price increases. That comment is huge because it provides one of the clearest real-world examples yet of the AI infrastructure buildout reshaping enterprise technology budgets.
