Einstein discovered E=mc², he didn't "invent" it. Satoshi discovered #Bitcoin, he didn't "invent" it. No one controls #Bitcoin. The identity of who discovered it is irrelevant. Enough with the Satoshi speculation. It's dangerous, it's disrespectful, and it's fiat.

Clip is from our latest Mailbag Monday episode from @moneymatterzpod Full episode:

Not at all true. Bitcoin was, indeed, invented. Someone sat down, brainstormed, wrote code, and tested. This religious "discovery" stuff needs to end.

🎯!

Im sorry but an algorithmic protocol is not the same as a universal law of physics! Also, in a supply and demand driven network, knowing who owns 5% of it could be relevant! German government and other 0.2% supply shocks move btc price by 10-20k imagine a 5% supply shock

That is like saying the founding fathers discovered the constitution instead of writing it.

“It's dangerous, it's disrespectful, and it's fiat.” What does that even mean.??

#Bitcoin exists thanks to the invention of: • Protocols and P2P networks • Cryptographic functions • Asymmetric cryptography • Decentralization • Digital signatures • Proof-of-Work • Hash functions • Merkle trees • Scripting • Database • And many other innovations

@GhostofWhitman No satoshi didn’t “discover” bitcoin. It wasn’t existing in nature under a rock. It was put together and invented.

By that definition, no invention exists. Useless definition.

Stop peddling this discovery scam. Bitcoin is a technology developed by human beings and coded up. Get out of here with this pseudo-religious crap. Stop trying to scam people.
