I say Ukraine has nuclear weapons. They are far more reliable than NATO.

A strong message i would say. There are 2 roads ahead. If Ukraine is pushed on the dangerous road they will have to go all out to preserve their statehood and existence which are at stake here and are non-negotiable. Ukraine will not surrender and it's good to point it out.

Not only Ukraine is thinking this way. If the west won't defend Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic states will seek nukes to defend themselves. Western policy makers have been amazingly short sighted as they appease Russia.

I’m starting to think that Zelensky’s goal is utter and complete annihilation of the Ukrainian state. Trying to use nukes against Russia is the dumbest thing he can do - they have thousands of nukes. Maybe you can destroy a few districts of 2-3 cities and in return you lose your entire country.

Annnnd! Here it is finally! Zelensky is elliptically saying Ukraine will develop nuclear weapons if it can't get full NATO protection. And he told this to Trump. I would bet Ukraine already had ample time to go nuclear. It has the expertise and the fissile materials.
