Going beyond welfare, in it’s tenure the YSRCP government laid down structural pillars of a modern state, even in the face of COVID: 🔹 Governance: Introduced the Volunteer system & Sachivalayam model (government at every doorstep). 🔹 Healthcare: Introduced Family Doctor concept & expanded Aarogyasri coverage up to ₹25 lakh. 🔹 Infrastructure: Built 17 medical colleges, airports, 4 ports & 10 fishing harbours. 🔹 Education: Radically transformed school infrastructure through the Nadu–Nedu program upgrading government schools to be on par with the best pvt schools. Introduced English medium, CBSE & planned to implement IB in govt schools. 🔹 Agriculture: Established RBKs to hand hold farmers from seed to sale, introduced MSP support & free crop insurance. 🔹 Economy: Escalated job creation at scale with Vizag emerging as a growth engine.
