you shouldn't be able to hold any type of dual citizenship and hold any type of office. you either denounce your other citizenship or you don't get to be in government. mult nations force you give up other citizenship or you can't be a citizen of theirs

This criminalizes elected officials for voting in favor of sanctuary-city policies — aiding and abetting illegal aliens. Government officials can now be sentenced to up to 6 years for voting to aid and abet, including harboring illegal aliens. Senate Bill 6002 / House Bill 6001 makes it a Class E felony for local elected officials — such as city council members, county commissioners, school board members, mayors or the Democrat Party— to vote in favor of adopting or maintaining sanctuary-city policies. A Class E felony in Tennessee is punishable by 1 to 6 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $3,000. Upon conviction, officials can also be removed from office.
