OMG how cute is this 2-week-old newborn baby elephant?!?!?! I'm visiting this great elephant sanctuary in Thailand and the cool thing is the mom of this baby elephant was rescued by Aaron of Planting Peace who helped coordinate my 2 Karmagawa birthday elephant rescues the past 2 weeks! Please retweet this and help me get the word out, DO NOT RIDE ELEPHANTS and do not visit "sanctuaries" that allow riding/bathing with elephants...go check out as they do a great job and are a REAL elephant sanctuary with dozens of rescued elephants and now a newborn baby of a rescued elephant too!

As cute as this baby elephant is, realize that his mom was living in captivity and forced to work in chains for 30+ years and thankfully rescued by Aaron of Planting Peace & Following Giants just a few weeks before she gave birth...had she given birth while in captivity both the mom and baby would be living in chains and likely separated just after birth too 💔💔💔 Please retweet this if you will help me spread the word and educate people how cruelly these poor elephants are treated and why we need to rescue so many more of them! A baby elephant fell into a man-made waterhole after stopping for a drink and was too small to climb back out on its own. Panicked, the mother elephant rushed to her calf's side and tried everything she could to help, but she was unable to free it. She also stood guard, protecting her baby from potential predators while waiting for help to arrive. Fortunately, a rescue team quickly reached the scene by helicopter. Using ropes and teamwork, they carefully pulled the stranded calf to safety. As soon as it was rescued, the baby elephant immediately ran to find its mother. The emotional reunion was heartwarming, and the mother elephant even appeared to bow her head as if thanking the rescuers for saving her precious calf. 🐘💞

💔 ANOTHER HEARTBREAKER 💔💔💔 This poor baby was found hiding in bushes… terrified, alone, and suffering. Thankfully, our incredible volunteer MLHR Lauren showed patience and kindness, slowly gaining his trust until she was finally able to bring him to safety. He’s only 5 months old. Emaciated. Covered in mange. Frightened of the world around him. 💔 And as if that wasn’t enough… a cable had been tied tightly around his tiny neck. The pain and cruelty this little boy has endured is unimaginable. We are beyond heartbroken and angry. No animal should ever have to suffer like this. 😡💔 An Garda Síochána Dublin Garda Info are now investigating, and we want justice for this innocent soul. Right now, he needs urgent care, treatment, and the chance to finally feel safe and loved. Thank you Raheny Vets for being so kind ❤️ Please donate if you can. Holly 💔 Holly was rescued with her emaciated little puppy Saturday night 23rd of December. She was definitely used for breeding, another poor dog used to fill the pockets of some back garden cruel breeder. She’s with our vet in Kilcock Veterinary Hospital now having surgery, she has tumours on her mammary glands and serious infection in her womb.
