To land, the carrier had to steam at max speed directly into the wind, generating a massive 40-to-50-knot headwind down the deck. And the moment the tires touched down, Flatley had to slam all four engines into full reverse thrust bringing the giant plane to a complete halt in just 267 feet. Its massive 132-foot wingspan cleared the ship's control tower island by less than 15 feet. #Bangladesh: India's Reckless Actions Are Worsening the Flood Crisis in Southeast Bangladesh For the first time in generations, Bangladesh's entire southeastern region is facing its worst flooding in history affecting millions of people. The cause? Indian authorities opened the gates of the Dumbur Reservoir in Tripura for the first time in three decades, releasing massive volumes of water into an already rain-soaked region. Unfortunately, the Dumbur Reservoir is just one of many dams India has built on the rivers that flow into Bangladesh. Of the 54 transboundary rivers shared between the two countries, India has constructed dams on at least 30 of them, with the Farakka Dam being the most infamous for its catastrophic impact on northern Bangladesh. India's unilateral construction of dams and its arbitrary control of water flows have become a constant threat to Bangladesh, causing either drought or flooding downstream. This reckless behavior has devastated millions of lives and wreaked havoc on the environment. For example, over 80% of Bangladesh's 20 million small farmers depend on water flowing through these transboundary rivers to grow rice. Yet, India has consistently ignored these obligations and has never acknowledged the rights of Bangladesh and its people under international law. Despite these hostile actions, Indian officials continue to claim that they are friendly neighbors—yet they wonder why Bangladeshis hold such deep resentment against them. Is India truly a friendly neighbor to Bangladesh? Their actions speak louder than their words.

The sudden release of water from the dam has inundated the region to an extent it hasn't experienced in generations. International law obliges India to notify Bangladesh of any actions that could cause significant harm downstream. Yet, India's failure to notify Bangladesh before opening the gates has caused significant distress and damage. Unfortunately, the Dumbur Reservoir is just one of many dams India has built on the rivers that flow into Bangladesh. Of the 54 transboundary rivers shared between the two countries, India has constructed dams on at least 30 of them, with the Farakka Dam being the most infamous for its catastrophic impact on northern Bangladesh. India's unilateral construction of dams and its arbitrary control of water flows have become a constant threat to Bangladesh, causing either drought or flooding downstream. This reckless behavior has devastated millions of lives and wreaked havoc on the environment. For example, over 80% of Bangladesh's 20 million small farmers depend on water flowing through these transboundary rivers to grow rice. Here are some of the key obligations that India is failing to uphold: 1) Under Articles 5 and 6 of the UN Convention on the Law of the Non-Navigational Uses of International Watercourses (1997), upstream and downstream countries have the right to equitably and reasonably utilize shared waters. 2) Article 7 of the 1997 Convention, along with customary international law, obliges upstream countries, like India, to prevent significant harm to downstream nations, such as Bangladesh. 3) The Espoo Convention (1991) and customary international law mandate that upstream countries notify and consult with downstream states before undertaking any activities that could significantly affect shared waters. Yet, India has consistently ignored these obligations and has never acknowledged the rights of Bangladesh and its people under international law. Despite these hostile actions, Indian officials continue to claim that they are friendly neighbors—yet they wonder why Bangladeshis hold such deep resentment against them. 1️⃣ I did everything I could for Ritual I made all kinds of contributions. For 8 months, I contributed to Ritual, but I am extremely disappointed with their system. I made 181 contributions on X, bought Canva Premium to design infographics, and sent almost 17,000 messages. Despite all this, I have been permanently ignored for 8 months. Two of my friends, Ashish.Base.eth (❖,❖) (230 contributions) and KUNDAN (150 contributions), are facing the same treatment. Because of this unfair and favoritism based system, I decided to post on Twitter to expose it. When we raised our voice after 6 months of hard work and 150+ contributions, the so called Indian community handlers and famous team members labeled it as FUD and continued ignoring us. 2️⃣ When we asked the Indian community handlers why we were not given roles after 8 months, they said: “We can’t do anything, the team decides.” But when we contacted the team or mods, they said: “Go back to the Indian community handlers, they will help you.” If these handlers and big mods really can’t do anything, then why are they even here? They are here to build connections This system has been making fun of me and other hard working contributors. 3️⃣ Now look at the people who received roles based on “quality contributions.” Everything is available with proof. One person (Yaneul) got a role with only 15 very low quality contributions (mostly food and event screenshots). He even got Ritualist with just 25 contributions. This clearly shows either connections were used or it could be a mod’s second account. Another person (placboeffect) got a role with just 9 contributions. Many people received roles at 35, 40, 50, 55, 60 contributions, while I had 181 contributions. This is what they call “quality contributions.” 4️⃣ Now decide yourself: Who contributed more? Who worked harder? People contributing for 8 months to 1 year are ignored, while others get roles at 9 or 25 contributions. I’m sorry but Pakistan is a failed state. I don’t say this with glee, I say it with 100% objectivity, minus the emotion. It was founded on shaky grounds: “We can’t live with Hindus; therefore, we need a separate country.” And then it left half of the subcontinent’s Muslims in India. In response to this quandary, Jinnah reportedly said, “If I have to sacrifice half of Indian Muslims to save the other half, I’ll do it.” (Jinnah, by Ishtiaq Ahmed) Meaning, he was willing to sacrifice 15 million Muslims because he thought living side by side with Hindus would be worse than death. Indian Muslims are much better off than Pakistani Muslims. Pakistanis are just like any other people. They are born with strong feelings of loyalty towards their native tribe. But ask yourself, what is it that you actually like about Pakistan? Its people? The same people who will rob you at the first opportunity they get the moment you step out of your house? Or its political leaders, who have fattened their foreign bank accounts at your expense? Or maybe Pakistanis living abroad? Imran Khan used to say, “These same Pakistanis become model citizens when they go abroad.” Again, a self-praising, self-congratulatory statement without any basis. Look at the latest crime statistics from European countries. Pakistanis are almost always overrepresented. When Pakistanis are not in jail over criminal matters, they go to jail on terror related offences. They are at the forefront of every Islamist movement. Or do you like the mountains? Pakistanis love to say the northern parts of Pakistan are even “better than Switzerland”, something no foreigner has ever said. 99.99% of Pakistanis have never even been to Switzerland, yet they’re perfectly happy to make the comparison. This tells us that Pakistanis are collectively, socially, politically, and even religiously (by their own admission) failures. Hence my conclusion: it’s a failed country. Happy 5th Anniversary to Everyone ❤️ Since the birth of our NFSC, we’ve walked a powerful path through storms and sunshine and Mr. Miles Guo didn’t just help us - He awakened us and he taught us Truth, Love, Courage through the movement and this is more than a fight - This is Family, this is Faith, this is History in the making. I don’t have the right to speak for others and I never will but based on what I’ve seen - The Alliance and our Great Fellow Fighters didn’t just fight but they protected, they bled, they sacrificed, they stood tall when it hurt the most and their bravery has become the heartbeat of our movement and this is the reality, not a story or a rumor and from my point of view, it’s only going to get better and stronger. With all due respect to Brothers and Sisters, let’s take a moment to show more appreciation towards the great people around us, those in the Alliance, your Farm, your Fellow Fighters who are showing up with intelligence and courage, both online and offline activities and I truly mean this to everyone from every part of the world - One of the greatest way to stay United is by sharing Love, Respect, Support, Advice, Experiences with one another, all under the one and only important goal is to grow stronger together and fight against CCP, a journey that has been incredibly tough and long but deeply meaningful. For a very long time - I kept hearing the same question over and over again: People asked with worry, when will Mr. Miles Guo come out ? But ever since 3.15, my mind has been holding onto just one question that I keep asking myself every single day: Why would he choose to stay inside when he had the option to be free outside ? IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, it's because he wants to make it clear to everyone that he prioritizes his mission to TAKE DOWN THE CCP over his own freedom - That’s why I’ve never spent even a second believing he couldn’t get out because the people behind him is massive and there’s no such thing as 99% - It’s a 100% chance he could be released if he chose to make the call...
