“I would’ve done it all over again” gave me some comfort. Cause even at the end, in pain, he looked at Ellie with no regrets. Knowing that if this was the outcome he’d do it again, for her

Definitely. For as much of a brat as Ellie is this season, which will get worse as the story proceeds, she wasn't bluffing about having hashed it out with him. Plus we have like 5 flashbacks left of Pedro (some this season, rest next season).
