His canonization is going to be a huge deal in the life of the Church, and especially in Pope Leo XIV’s papacy,” Father Moses says. “I would imagine this would be the first saint he's going to canonize as pope.” While looking through notes for his podcast, Father David Michael Moses discovered that Blessed Carlo Acutis attended the Leo XIII Institute in Milan, Italy. “What are the chances that the school he's attending when he dies was named after Pope Leo XIII, the predecessor of our new Pope Leo XIV, the pope that Leo XIV says inspired him to choose the name? What are the chances? How cool is that?” Father Moses adds, “If that wasn't enough, listen to this quote from Blessed Carlo Acutis. It's called the Leo XIII Institute. I mean, guys, come on. How cool is that? "He died really young—he was 15—so he never went to college. He didn't go to that many schools.
