Elmo’s World is a world between worlds. A pocket dimension outside of our universe, safe from any sort of destruction or conflict. How one comes and goes is uncertain, yet it is a place imagination, a gold fish and this guy who can probably solo Superman and Goku

I would fucking eat elmo over a open fire also big bird could feed my family for half a year!!

I was really worried this was going to do the stereotypical played out thing of "Oh, Elmo is evil or psychotic and trapping people in his world" but, no, he just legitimately has no idea how to leave. That's so much more refreshing, and funnier imo.
