The central issue is not just that Elon is unelected, but 1) this is an obvious expansion of executive power- congress is supposed to control the purse, 2) this will be an incredibly biased as Elon defunds specifically "left" agencies, e.g. CFPB, free IRS filing tool, etc.

The way that Vinay has been simping for Elon lately is a little disturbing,. Vinay does not even mention that Elon gave 100s of millions to Trump's campaign. I dont understand why he is leaving out all this information.

why are you making these videos, when you have to be spoonfed politics like a baby - Congress has power of the purse - Congress is elected - Elon was not elected Therefore, [can Vinay do a syllogism?]

Good video, and the other topics are even more relevant to the science world. I liked your suggestions about the streamlining the grant writing process. Perhaps the people who don’t want it to change are like gambling addicts who “have a system” for the slot machines?

Elon Musk claims to have finished a 100,000-strong H100 cluster in four months. How likely is that?

It has nothing to do with Elon. Elon just happens to be elite at identifying and removing waste. Elon is just the guy reading off the credit card bill. It could be anyone reading that. THE REAL STORY IS WHATS ON THE CREDIT CARD BILL!?

Elon Musk has unprecedented access to government operations and decision making that exceeds that of most established and confirmed positions, and he got their through donations which used to only buy you a sweet ambassador gig. Disappointingly shallow analysis.

If anything this talk gives the benefit of the doubt to the agency. It’s a fair assessment anyhow.
