ELON: MEGAPACK WILL BE SO POWERFUL, YOU WON’T NEED A SUBSTATION “We keep improving the battery design, so the MegaBlock makes it really easy to deploy battery, you know, utility scale batteries. We’ve just simplified and brought more of the components to be internal to the batteries, so you... show more

🚨 ELON MUSK: "Batteries are going to be a massive thing. The scale of battery demand, I think not that many people appreciate just how gigantic the scale of battery demand is. The sustained power output from the US grid is around 1 TW, but average usage is less than half of it. If you add batteries to the mix, you can run the power plants 24/7 at full capacity. More than doubling the energy output per year of the United States, just with batteries."

MagSat v0.1 The prototype of the device is a companion to your phone. This is just the first module, more of a proof of concept. The idea is that it will be a sandwich of various modules, from an extra battery to powerful WiFi compatible with Kali Linux. What do you think? Do you need such a device, and what modules would be interesting to see?

Elon Musk predicts that more than 90% of Earth's power will eventually come from solar with batteries "Satellites are just solar panels and a battery. That’s how all satellites work. With the Starlink satellite network, there’s 7,000 (now ~10K) satellites orbiting the Earth, and all they use is solar panels and a battery My prediction is, long-term, a majority of power on Earth - in fact, eventually it might be like 90% or more- will be solar panels with batteries That's my prediction. My predictions have a pretty good track record" Starlink already proves it works at massive scale in space

Elon Musk: Here's what we need to have a fully sustainable energy economy. “There are three elements to a sustainable energy future. One is sustainable energy generation, which is primarily wind and solar. There's also hydro, geothermal. I'm actually pro-nuclear. I think nuclear is fine. But it's going to be primarily solar and wind as the primary generators of energy. The second part is you need batteries to store the solar and wind energy, because the sun doesn't shine all the time, the wind doesn't blow all the time. So it's a lot of stationary battery packs. And then you need electric transport. So electric cars, electric planes, boats. And ultimately we can have a fully sustainable energy economy. And it's those three things: solar/wind, stationary battery pack, electric vehicles. So then what are the limiting factors on progress? The limiting factor really will be battery cell production. So that's going to really be the fundamental rate driver.” Source: TED, April 14, 2022.

ELON: WE DON'T NEED A FUSION REACTOR; WE HAVE THE SUN "We already have a giant fusion reactor in the sky that's called the sun that shows up every day. It converts about four and a half million tons of mass to energy every second and requires no maintenance; it's amazing. You don't have to refuel it; you don't have to maintain it; it's just there. So my recommendation for fusion is solar power and batteries, and we can easily power all of Earth just with photovoltaics and batteries. I mean, not easily, but there's just a very clear path to do so, and no miracles required, just work." Source: WSJ

ELON MUSK: "Space solar actually costs less than terrestrial solar because you don't need heavy glass or framing to protect it from extreme weather events. So as soon as the cost to orbit drops to a low number, it immediately makes extremely compelling sense to put AI in space. It becomes a no brainer. Basically, more of a as you go to space, you get increased economies of scale, and things get easier over time, whereas as you try to put more and more power on the ground, you run out of space and you start using up the easy spots, and then you get next level. Nobody wants the thing in their backyard. So then increasing power on earth has becomes harder over time and more expensive over time, but in space it becomes actually cheaper and easier over time."

I will continue to participate in the song production a lot. It is my job and my music. I think that if I do it myself and get the results so that you can understand the song, it will be more convincing and you will like it. And if I do that, I think you will be proud of me.

ELON MUSK: The Future of AI Power is in Space, Not on Earth. "Once you start thinking in terms of what percentage of the sun's power are you harnessing? You realize you have to go to space and you can't scale very much on Earth. All of the United States currently uses only half a terawatt per hour on average. So you know, if you say a terawatt, that would be twice as much electricity as the United States currently consumes. So that's quite a lot. It's actually very difficult to build power plants and then you don't just need the power plants, you need all of the electrical equipment. Need the electrical transformers to run the transformers. You can build power plants. That's what we did at xAI for Colossus 2. It's very difficult to scale other forms of power. You can scale potentially solar. Solar cells are already very cheap. Now put it in space and it's 10 times cheaper because you don't need any batteries. So the moment your cost of access to space becomes low. By far, the cheapest and most scalable way to generate tokens is space. It's not even close. It'll be an order of magnitude easier to scale five years from now. My prediction is we will launch and be operating every year more AI in space than the cumulative total on Earth."

Sun Fengchun, a NEV expert and Academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, addressed the complexity of Tesla's technology: “So do you still think Tesla just glued a bunch of AA batteries together? It is easy to stick tens of thousands of batteries together, but to weld them all together and integrate a perfect Battery Management System! That is the hardest part.”

How will we know if an AI take over is imminent? What are the warning signs? Connor Leahy: “Things will seem mostly normal, just… weird. Things will get weirder…and weirder… and then one day, we will just not be in control anymore. “There won't be a fight. There won't be a war. It won't be dramatic. It will just be that one day the machines are in control, and not us.” “The way I expect [AI take over] to feel is like, if you play chess against a grandmaster, it doesn’t feel like you're having a heroic battle against the Terminator…. it doesn’t feel like you're having this incredible back and forth, and then you lose... No, it feels more like you THINK you're playing well, you think everything is okay, and then suddenly… you lose… in one move, and you don't know why. This is what it feels like to play chess against a grandmaster, and this is what it's going to feel like for humanity to play against AGI. It won’t be some dramatic battle where the Terminators rise up and try to destroy humanity. No, it will be… things get more and more confusing. [Editor's note: Like Sam Altman, out of nowhere, raising up to 10% of world GDP?] More and more jobs get automated faster and faster... More and more technology gets built, which no one even quite knows how the technology works... There will be mass media movements that don't really make any sense... Like, do we really know the truth of what's going on in the world right now, even now with social media? Do you or I really know what's going on? How much of this is fake? How much of it is generated with AI or other methods? We don't know. And this will get much worse.” Imagine if you have extremely intelligent systems, much smarter than humans, that can generate any image, any video, anything, trying to manipulate you well...and being able to develop new technologies to interfere with politics.”

Shreyas loves destroying batteries and he comes up with his own crazy ways of testing them. Last time he was seen baking his battery eating ice-cream. This time he saw a crane and got excited and wanted to test strength of our batteries. So he decided to drop it from 40 feet. Aluminium casings on the battery significantly enhances Safety and thermal performance of the batteries. Imagine what would happen if the battery was not made of metal! Using metal where it matters, making the batteries Rock Solid #battery #AtherRizta #EV

So getting a lot of questions on how the pre sale will work for the Prediction market DAO. It will be invite only at first, we are raising a low amount of SOL, and giving away a LOW amount of tokens. Once it is filled it's filled. The starting FDV will be LOW float, and LOW FDV. So it's easier for price discovery to happen. There will be a tax auction so snipers wont be able to fuk it. it will be starting at 99%, and then ticking down. If you use our Ui (wen. rich)it will warn you. This stops snipers from messing with snapping up supply, and ill probs add some personal money into the LP to manage it a bit during the dutch-tax-auction. 80% of raised funds will go to the DAO's for trading. and the other 20% will go to the LP. None goes to us. We will not sell tokens. We will make money on the volume, and fees. Tokens earned from us LPing will be burned. I want to do it with a low fdv so people can get in early and participate, but I did a pre sale to reward people who have been testing @WenDotRich ( our trading/launching platform). Once you are invited you can "gamble for allo" as show in the video. To pvp other pre sellers. You can also just deposit for even money. Its optional, but will be experimenting more with this "gamble to get in" feature in the future. See video for more info. there is also going to be a referral link , for invited people to invite others to the pre sale, and there is a small amount of tokens set aside to reward the top refer's. its based off the amount of $$ the people to refer deposit. more $ deposited, better rewards. Easy. I think you guys will like this take on pre-sales. We are going to be experimenting more so feedback is appreciated.

JUST IN: New footage of Elon Musk in SpaceX Starbase, Louisiana introducing video. Elon Musk "If you want to go out there and make life multiplanetary, and not just be a tourist—send a few people and come back—and if you want to go there and actually build a self-growing civilization, you need serious tonnage. We are going to bring, I think, probably north of 10,000 really exciting jobs to Louisiana. They are the kind of jobs that are so exciting, you cannot wait to go to work in the morning. It is super inspiring, and we believe in having a really fun work environment. It is hard to beat rockets, frankly. I think it has been incredibly exciting for the people of Louisiana. We will make it so the public can come and see, like they do at Cape Canaveral. People will go see Disney World, but then they will go over to Cape Canaveral to watch the rocket launch."

Imagine if a battery was no longer a part of the price of an EV, you just rented a battery, and all EVs standardised on their battery interface, then EVs would be much more perfect, and there would be no more so-called "charging anxiety".🤔

ROSALÍA speaks for the first time about what happened that forced her to postpone three LUX TOUR shows: “It’s such a long, long journey to see you all here. It’s such a lovely feeling to be able to perform for you. Thank you for being so… Thank you. It’s a very… it’s a very, very… let me speak. Thank you for understanding. And that the loved ones need to come first. And I think that… yeah… we live… But when something unexpected and painful happens to you, it can be hard to keep going. But I truly believe that doing this is worth it. And I truly believe that me coming and sharing this with you, and you sharing it with me… I will do it with all the love that I have. And maybe it will be a little short, but you can take this with you. And hopefully, you will be able to take it with you again. To be honest, I don’t know what would make me happier. And I love you so much.”
