What I have never understood is that connection to comprehending the nature of the universe, or why Elon says the flame of consciousness could be extinguished. Everything tells me that the flame of consciousness driving expansion is the one emerging within humanity; yet the universe possesses its own consciousness—its flame is a bonfire that will never go out. The universe and all of nature have their own consciousness and inherent laws that no one teaches them—the rivers, seas, jungles, and volcanoes of our planet; nature itself—everything possesses its own consciousness and natural intelligence. The universe possesses them as well. It is humanity—if it wishes to advance among the stars—that must learn and transcend them. You, Elon, are the motivator, the awakener, and the guide on this path toward an intelligence that is currently beyond our reach. You are the way forward. Yet the journey is not easy; perhaps humanity will have to modify its own biology to survive as an intergalactic species.
