Elon Musk really seems to be doubling down on removing the X blocking feature from this platform. In a reply to James Woods, who criticized Musk for saying he’s removing the feature, Musk simply told him to “delete your account.” Musk also is apparently blocking people himself. He’s blocking... people who are complaining about the block feature being removed. Personally I have 5,000+ accounts blocked, mostly from over 5 years ago. I wish I could unblock all of them with one click. With that said though, there are a few accounts which I do wish I could prohibit from replying to my posts. These are people who post photos of my home, my address, my kids names, etc. There are also people who have stalked me, showing up at my home, at my family’s place of work, etc. I don’t want these people to be able reply to my posts with photos of my home, etc. What are your thoughts about the removal of the option to block accounts on Twitter? Do you believe this is a good move or a mistake, and why?show more

I really would love to hear Elon's reasoning for removing the unblock feature. I think maybe a better solution would be to allow people to "unblock all" and also have more custom block options.

I've never said a negative word about Musk until this. I think it is a dumb idea. I am interested how he is getting around Apple and Google requiring a block feature.

I’m of the camp who wishes and hopes that Sebastian Telfair gets back on track for himself and for his kids who depend on him. I can recall me going through life and financial hardship and it wasn’t pretty. There was a lot of struggle I battled publicly and didn’t know how to manage my life for a period of time. I don’t know how he’s gotten to where he’s at. The fact is that he’s there and he has to do something about it. That mentality of dealing with reality and getting up daily to change my situation is what got me to where I’m at. Sometimes things are what they are…. You have to get back on your feet and get your life in order. I don’t have to say I told you so to the people who counted me out or laughed at me. All I have to do is exist and live. The results show themselves over time. It’s better to get back up, have class, laugh in the back of your mind and help others. Losers who wish hell on your life have internal issues. A few days ago I posted a couple videos of a black lady who was kicking trees outside of a shrine and calling Japan "ghetto". In response, she told her 250000 TikTok followers to "Find this HARUKA SUZUMORI" and to find my Instagram to expose my identity. She makes many false claims here which I'll address: 1. Almost all of my posts are in English so the idea my Japanese is 'unnatural' is wrong. 30% of my followers are Japanese and the 70% are foreign. 2. I am not a "dude". I have posted pictures of myself here before. I regularly post pictures of my hands, side of my face, etc which clearly do not belong to a man. 3. I don't post to 'make money' by posting your videos. Third party videos here are demonetized by 90%. 4. Threatening to track me down is actually illegal in Japan. I have been very clear about who I am: I am an office worker who is from Japan. I often talk about my family, my upbringing, my political and social views. I do not post where I live or my contact info. If this is exposed by you or your 250000 followers, I will make sure you face deportation.

The last few weeks have been mentally draining as an Iranian who hates the Islamic Republic and wants them out, but who also hates war, or the idea of a prolonged war that will hurt the iranian people. If I post that I am against a prolonged war, I am told that I'm a traitor, that I wished this on my people and get called 100 different names. If I post that I want the Regime out, I am told that I'm bending the knee to Trump, that I am a war mongerer and also get called 100 different names. There is no winning on social media, there has never been, but what I find shockin is the inability for people to have more balanced opinions. Not everything is all or nothing. Do I think this war is for the liberation of the Iranian people? Absolutely not, it's business as usual. Do I think that the current Regime in Iran is good? Absolutely not, they are terrorists who murder their own people for protesting, and they need to be taken out. At the end of the day I care about one thing and one thing only and that's for the liberation of my people. Since people don't read on X, here's a video of my thoughts.

A couple of Jews VS. hundreds of Hamas supporters - I stand in solidarity with Michael and Anastasia and Barbara at Concordia, Shira, Moranne, and all my Jewish brothers and sisters and ALL good-hearted people in the world against intolerance and hatred. Here in Montreal. In Toronto. Everywhere in the world. Against lies and propaganda and people being brainwashed and led astray from the goodness of their souls. I do not hate these people. I feel sorry for them. But this is not about them. This is about US. This is about our morality. I do not compare myself to them. I look in the mirror of my people and overall, I like what I see. I am proud of who we are with our achievements, moral clarity and yes, our imperfections. I encourage all good people to learn the facts. To speak up. To show up. And to stand up to bullies. People are paying for a service at the company you are in charge of and they are being labeled as “spam” and comments under their posts are labeled as spam. For the sake of transparency and your company commitment to free speech, can you please publicly provide an explanation as to why so many of your PAYING USERS on X are having their accounts flagged as spam and why accounts are now being hidden from the timeline? I am posting the publicly as I have been advised to do, for full transparency so that everyone can see that these inquiries are being made. I am being respectful, and as someone who is happy to pay $30 a month, I am hoping to get some answers for myself and the many other X users who are having this issue but not getting any answers from X.
